The intrauterine device TCu 380Ag is ready for use by specialized medical personnel, in a sterile, single-use package. It consists of two flexible Y-shaped arms and a vertical stem which includes:

• Low-density polyethylene with barium sulfate
• Radiopaque spiral made of copper-silver alloy with a diameter of 0.40 mm, providing a surface area of 380 mm² ± 23 mm²
• The frame is bound with Monofilament polyamide thread for easy removal
• Includes an insertion tube and rod in a detachable case

The insertion tube has a movable flange that assists in measuring the insertion depth. The composition of the metal spiral delays wire degradation and extends the device's lifespan. The TCu 380Ag can remain in place for up to 5 years.
