The product PRO THC 404 is a fiber-reinforced cement-based mortar, single-component, modified with polymer additives. It is a specialized product recommended for bonding and plastering thermal insulation boards, such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), and mineral wool, in external thermal insulation systems for buildings.

It is composed of cement, limestone fillers, and improving additives. The PRO THC 404 product features:

• Very strong adhesion to all common substrates and thermal insulation boards
• High elasticity
• Resistance to freezing and moisture
• Suitable for interior and exterior use

It complies with the European standards EN 13499 and ETAG 004. PRO THC 404 is used both as an adhesive and as a base coat for thermal insulation boards in the ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) of THRAKON.

For strong bonding, its use is recommended with:

• Expanded polystyrene (EPS)
• Extruded polystyrene (XPS)
• Hard glass wool
• Cork

Suitable for substrates made of:

• Concrete
• Lightweight concrete
• Bricks and cement blocks
• Porous concrete
• Self-leveling floors
• Plasters
• Flat masonry with filled joints

The PRO THC 404 adhesive, combined with fiberglass mesh, can be used to cover joints between different types of masonry.
