Description

P.G.I. Ioannina

The estate was established in 1978 on the hill of Prophet Elias, in Zitsa. In their vineyard of approximately 145 acres, the red local varieties Vlachiko and Bekari are cultivated, which are adapted to the cold climate of the area.

Glina's estate Vlachiko is a wine that deserves attention, due to the extremely rare varieties it contains. The climatic conditions strongly shape the character of the grape, imparting strong aromas, bright color, and good acidity.

The harvest takes place in early October. The varieties are destemmed and vinified in oak vats, with a classic red maceration lasting 12 days. The wine is placed and aged in French oak barrels for two years.

Aromatic with a nice structure, round tannins, very good. Easy to drink due to its low alcohol content.
