The privately-owned traditional vineyards of Domaine Vassiliou are located on the slopes of the wider area of Koropi, covering an area of 150 acres with well-drained limestone and coppery soils. The varieties cultivated here are Savvatiano and Roditis, from which the estate's eleven different wine labels are produced.

In the late 1980s, Giorgos Vassiliou established the Vassiliou Estate Winery in Koropi, the first visitable winery in the area. Domaine Vassiliou is a modern European facility with corresponding mechanical equipment, including horizontal presses and stainless steel refrigerated tanks for controlling fermentations and preserving the rich aromas of the wines. Several meters below ground level, the wine aging cellars are located.
