Description

Malagouzia is one of the most aromatic and fruity varieties of the Greek vineyard. Since the 1970s, it has been cultivated throughout the Greek territory, producing high-alcohol wines with moderate acidity.

Its main characteristic is the rich citrus aromas accompanied by notes of white flowers and linden.

Its color is green with yellow highlights, lively acidity and freshness in taste, and a medium-length aftertaste.

Winemaking/Aging

After the grape harvest, the method of pre-fermentation extraction is applied, followed by the alcoholic fermentation of the juice at graded temperatures. The wine remains on its lees for 2 months before bottling.

Terroir

Clay-loam soil with excellent drainage due to the steep slope of the land.
