The Cangaroo Clarity infrared thermometer measures forehead temperature without contact or ear temperature in approximately 1 second. It can also be used to measure the temperature of a room or objects, such as milk in a baby bottle. The LED display shows the temperature reading with green, orange or red lighting.

The reading is displayed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the device switches off automatically after 30 seconds. It is powered by 2 AAA 1.5 V alkaline batteries, which are included in the package.
