Malifaux is a world filled with danger, wonder, and ambition. Connected to Earth through a dimensional rift known as the Great Rift, it is a place where magic flourishes, lost technologies, and hidden secrets waiting to be uncovered. For those brave enough to cross into this world, the opportunities are endless, but the cost is high, and few return unchanged.

Humanity discovered Malifaux when the Great Rift opened in Santa Fae, New Mexico. They entered a barren landscape, but hidden within were treasures. Artifacts, remnants, and tomes of magic rapidly changed humanity and Earth forever. Mages took on necromancy, driven by crazy voices urging them to push the limits of death magic. Earth's waning magic was strengthened by Soul Stones: beautiful gems mined at depths capable of storing incredible amounts of energy. Industry flourished. Then, everything collapsed.

Malifaux is a strategic tabletop game set in a horror/steampunk setting. Each player creates a force of 5-7 figures from a faction to compete. A force consists of soldiers and at least one master. Malifaux involves resource management elements, as decks of cards are used instead of dice for skill checks. Each check involves drawing a card from the deck and adding it to the figure's stats. Players can then use cards from their hand to increase the value. The highest value in a contested check wins. The turn system is streamlined, with each player alternating turns between activating models.

Aionus, Father of Time. Known by many names, all whispering about what has been lost and what will never be found. Aionus enjoys removing others from time itself, disrupting the fates' whims.

Aionus is a ten-year celebration exclusive for Wyrd. It is out of print but can be used in regular Malifaux games. The Aionus figure is made of PVC and comes fully assembled. The figure is unpainted.
