The legendary comic book hero Zagor was created in 1961. His real name is Patrick Wilding, but the Native Americans call him Zagor or Za-Gor-Te-Nay, which means "Spirit with the Axe".
Zagor is the mythic hero of the forests, mountains, and lakes who maintains peace between whites and Native Americans and punishes criminals. Zagor's adventures – always with his faithful friend, Chico – take place in the first half of the 19th century, in the northeastern United States in the fictional Darkwood forest.
Since his first publication in our country in 1970, his stories have won over readers and remain a timeless classic, offering a unique blend of action, drama, humor, and horror.
