The Salewa Ortles Medium 3 Down men's jacket combines 750 cuin 90/10 Responsible Standard goose down with TirolWool® Responsive insulation inserts placed in different areas for thermal protection. TirolWool® Responsive is used in the hood, shoulders and cuffs, retaining warmth even when wet. The jacket can be worn as a mid-layer or as an outer layer for alpine mountaineering and skiing.

The lightweight ripstop nylon fabric is abrasion-resistant, windproof, water-resistant and breathable. The adjustable hood, high collar and ergonomic sleeves and shoulders provide protection and freedom of movement while climbing. The jacket packs down into its integrated pocket, while the two-way front zipper makes it easier to access a harness and belay device.
