Microfiber is a very fine synthetic fiber, usually made from polyester or polyamide. It is twice as thin as silk fiber, three times thinner than cotton fiber, eight times thinner than wool, and 100 times thinner than human hair. Microfiber products are incredibly soft to the touch and very lightweight. The fabric has excellent drape.
The quilt is very light and soft, hugging the body. During the summer months, it provides cooling and comfort, allowing the skin to breathe and keeping it dry. In winter, it acts as a good insulator, remaining soft without creating a cold sensation. It is easy to use as it is machine washable.
