A lot of money for nothing. I bought it as the best camera on the market and in the end I sold it and got the Dji and I was saved.
The battery doesn't last long. Fortunately, the package had two batteries inside but you need a third one. With the Dji Action 5, I get many hours of continuous use with one battery. The front screen is just decorative. Neither of the two is OLED like the Dji's, while the size of the camera is as big as the Gopro. One thing I liked is the flip-up screen, but you only use it for low-angle shots a few times. I don't understand why it costs so much more when, in terms of video quality and build quality, it doesn't have anything superior to show. Maybe it's slightly better in night shots. But that's a small difference. It has something different to offer compared to other cameras but it doesn't justify costing so much. If it cost half, around 300 euros, then we would be talking differently.
Πολλά λεφτά για το τίποτα. Την αγόρασα ως τη καλύτερη κάμερα της αγοράς και τελικά την πούλησα και πήρα της Dji και σώθηκα.
Η μπαταρία δεν κραταει πολύ. Ευτυχώς είχε δύο μπαταρίες μέσα το πακέτο αλλά χρειάζεται 3η. Στην Dji action 5 με μια μπαταρία βγάζω πολλες ώρες συνεχούς χρήσης. Η οθόνη μπροστά διακοσμητική. Καμία από τις δύο δεν είνα oled οπως της Dji ενω το μέγεθος της κάμερας είναι μεγάλο σαν της Gopro. Κάτι που μου άρεσε είναι η flip up οθονη αλλά τα χαμηλά πλάνα τα βγάζεις ελάχιστες φορές. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα παραπάνω όταν και σε ποιότητα βίντεο και ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν έχει κάτι το ανώτερο να δείξει. Ίσως είναι ελαφρώς πιο καλή σε νυχτερινές λήψεις. Αλλά μικρή διαφορά. Έχει να προσφέρει κάτι διαφορετικό από άλλες κάμερες αλλά δεν δικαιολογείται να κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα. Αν κόστιζε τα μισά γύρω στα 300 ευρώ τότε θα μιλάγαμε αλλιώς.

First, let me say that before I made the purchase, I had the Ace pro 2 in my hands, which a friend lent me for 2 weeks and I used it quite a bit.
WHERE THE OSMO 5 EXCELS - WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE ACE PRO 2 TO HAVE.
1) The Osmo has front and back OLED screens and every time you want to take a quick selfie photo you don't need to open and close the foldable back screen. In fact, even from the small front one, you can operate the menu.
2) The Osmo is much smaller in size, and looks higher quality in plastics and construction, without meaning that the Ace pro 2 isn't good. You just feel it lighter, more hollow.
3) The Osmo's battery is bigger. It lasts more hours, charges quickly, makes life easier.
4) It has 47GB of internal memory, which is very important.
5) It shoots 10bit colors while the Ace pro 2 shoots in 8Bit.
6) Much lower purchase cost than the Ace Pro 2. I don't understand why it's such an expensive camera. It in no way justifies the price difference it has from the Osmo 5 pro which is better.
7) Better feeling shutter button, it's easy to press, while on the Ace pro 2 it needs force. The opposite happens with the camera's power button.
WHERE THE ACE PRO 2 EXCELS
1) The Ace pro 2's screen, being foldable, helps you shoot low angles without having to bend your head all the way down to see what you're shooting.
2) It shoots 8K resolution, which is insignificant or I would say unnecessary for the needs of most users.
3) It has a detachable cover for wind noise reduction.
4) You can press Pause while recording a video. Maybe the only thing I envy and the Osmo doesn't have.
5) You can apply image filter effects through the camera. Insignificant, but convenient for those who don't know or don't want to deal with video editing on a program either on the phone or PC.
6) It shoots slightly brighter videos at night than the Osmo 5.
The conclusions are yours. I think it depends on everyone's needs which camera suits them. But for me, both are top with a difference, it's just the price difference that makes the Ace pro 2 lose points.
If you get both in your hands, you'll understand that the Ace pro 2 is not worth its money when it has the Osmo against it.

ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η OSMO 5 - ΤΙ ΘΑ ΗΘΕΛΑ ΝΑ ΕΙΧΕ Η ACE PRO 2.
1) η Osmo εχει μπρος πίσω οθόνες oled και κάθε φορά που θες να βγάλεις μια γρήγορη σελφι φωτο δεν χρειάζεται να ανοιγοκλείνεις την αναδιπλούμενη πίσω οθόνη. Μάλιστα και από την μπροστινή τη μικρή, μπορείς να χειριστείς το μενού.
2) η osmo είναι πολύ πιο μικρή σε μέγεθος, και δείχνει ποιοτικότερη σε πλαστικά και κατασκευή, χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν είναι καλή. Απλά την νιώθεις πιο ελαφριά, πιο κούφια.
3) η μπαταρία της osmo είναι μεγαλύτερη. Kρατάει περισσότερες ώρες, φορτίζει γρήγορα, κάνει τη ζωή πιο εύκολη.
4) διαθέτει εσωτερική μνήμη 47gb, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό.

7) Καλύτερης αίσθησης κουμπί λήψεων, πατιεται εύκολα, ενώ στην Ace pro 2 θέλει δύναμη. Το αντίστροφο συμβαίνει με το κουμπί ενεργοποίησης της κάμερας.
ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η ACE PRO 2
1) Η oθόνη της Ace pro 2 με το να αναδιπλώνει σε βοηθάει να τραβήξεις χαμηλά πλάνα χωρίς να σκύβεις το κεφάλι τέρμα κάτω ωστε για να δεις τι τραβάς.
2) Tραβάει 8Κ ανάλυση, πράγμα ασήμαντο βέβαια η θα έλεγα περιττό για τις ανάγκες των περισσότερων χρηστών.
3) Διαθέτει αποσπώμενο κάλυμα για μειωση θορύβου αέρα.
4) Μπορείς να πατήσεις Pause την ώρα που τραβάς ενα βιντεο. Ίσως το μόνο που ζηλεύω και δεν έχει η osmo.
5) Μπορείς να εφαρμόσεις μέσω της κάμερας εφέ φίλτρα εικόνας. Aσημαντο, αλλά βολικό για όσους δεν ξέρουν ή δεν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν με την επεξεργασία βίντεο σε πρόγραμμα είτε στο κινητό είτε στον Η/Υ.
6) Βγάζει λίγο πιο φωτεινά βίντεο τη νύχτα από ότι η Osmo 5.
Τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας. Νομίζω ότι εξαρτάται από τις ανάγκες του καθενός ποια κάμερα του ταιριάζει. Και οι δύο όμως για μένα ειναι οι κορυφαίες με διαφορά απλά η διαφορά στη τιμή είναι που κάνει την Ace pro 2 να χάνει πόντους.
Αν πέσουν στα χέρια σας και οι δύο θα καταλάβετε ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα της όταν απέναντι της έχει την Osmo.
Fantastic resolution, easy to use, fast, beautiful construction. It is worth it even as a photo camera beyond being an action camera. For its price, it is far above any other action camera from every perspective. Also, the insta360 app is equally user-friendly with many features, especially in editing, as it finds the perfect edit with the help of AI.
For a more complete experience, I would recommend the xplorer kit and a 512gb SD card.
Φανταστική ανάλυση, εύχρηστη, γρήγορη, όμορφη κατασκευή. Αξίζει κ σαν φωτογραφική κάμερα πέρα από κάμερα δράσης. Για τα λεφτά της είναι πολύ πιο πάνω από οποιαδήποτε κάμερα άλλη action camera από κάθε οπτική.. Επίσης η εφαρμογή της insta360 είναι εξίσου εύχρηστη με πάρα πολλές παροχές ειδικά στο θέμα του edit καθώς βρίσκει το τέλειο edit με τη βοήθεια του AI.
Για πιο ολοκληρωμένη εμπειρία θα πρότεινα το xplorer kit και μια SD card 512gb.
I bought it to replace the first-generation Insta360 Ace Pro, which left me very satisfied, and while the camera is improved compared to its predecessor, I ultimately had to get rid of it because Insta360's service is laughable and pitiful.
In terms of dimensions, it is exactly the same as the Ace Pro 1.
The external differences are mainly as follows:
1) The front microphone, where now there is an option for either a plastic waterproof protective cover for use in water or a windslayer that significantly reduces wind noise.
2) The screen, which is now slightly larger in size and offers much better resolution.
3) The lens protector, which is now removable and not glued on like in the Ace Pro 1. So if it gets damaged, you can replace it very easily.
However, here comes its first negative, since now there is a chance the camera will show condensation during use, and this is why the newer batches come with a small rubber ring that "seals" the gap between the camera body and the lens protector, but it comes off quite easily. Fortunately, the package includes a second one as a spare, but keep in mind that most Insta360 models have condensation issues.
In terms of image and sound quality, the differences compared to the Ace Pro are notable only in the following:
1) Wider field of view. The Ace Pro 2 records a wider field than the Ace Pro 1. This means you can capture a larger part of a landscape or the background behind you. I would say that in terms of field of view and fisheye effect, it is somewhere between DJI and GoPro.
2) Cleaner videos in low light. Videos in low light show less noise and more detail than the Ace Pro 1, which already had excellent performance in this area. However, the colors are excessively warmer and the lights look blurrier, with a "halo" around them.
3) The sound is clearer than the Ace Pro 1 and the external protector helps a lot, but I think it still has a long way to go to reach DJI quality.
4) It takes better photos and its zoom is much higher quality than the Ace Pro 1.
On the technical side, it has an improved sensor, which remains the same size as the Ace Pro 1, very good stabilization, longer battery life, and is easier to use as a dashcam.
Otherwise, we're talking about a camera with very good video performance up to 8K, although if you choose the highest resolution you will notice a lot of cropping.
These improvements, however, although noticeable compared to what we are used to from GoPro and DJI's annual models, do not make it a camera you absolutely must get. If you have the AcePro 1, it's better to wait for the 2025 model (Ace Pro 3?). I only wish I had listened to my own advice...
Overall, it was a model with quite a few manufacturing problems, the most important, as I mentioned above, being the fact that it showed condensation and required an external rubber ring around the lens.
Mine, however, had another equally serious problem: a crooked lens, resulting in the videos coming out quite skewed and I couldn't fix them either through Insta360's software or through DaVinci. I contacted the company and after 1 month of daily communication, with wetransfer being on fire since they kept asking me for videos in various settings to "verify" the problem, I was forced to argue with them and make them send me a ticket so I could send it in for inspection, but they threatened me that if they determined there was no problem, I would have to "compensate" them in order to get it back. So here arose a matter of trust and I decided to get rid of it. I should note here that I have had interactions with the customer service of both GoPro and DJI and the results were as follows:
1) GoPro Hero 10: the video had a barely noticeable shake on turns and after 1.5 years of use (GoPro gives a 1-year warranty), I sent a message to GoPro and said that it might have a problem with the gyroscope. Their response: within 2 hours, a return ticket and within 2 days a message with a tracking code for the refurbished replacement camera! They didn't hassle me for a month, didn't threaten me, nor did they wait for the camera to arrive. And all this while the camera was out of warranty because I had it for 1.5 years.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: the camera showed condensation and the gimbal behaved strangely if you turned it off and on without removing the wide-angle lens. Within 15 minutes, and just upon mentioning the condensation, they had sent the return ticket. I told them that Christmas was approaching and I needed it urgently for a trip and they promised to do everything they could so I could receive the new one as soon as possible. The camera arrived at their offices in about a week, they immediately sent me the tracking code and DHL delivered the replacement camera 1 day earlier than expected. When I opened the box, I found that it was not refurbished, but brand new, sealed, with all its accessories!
Will I choose an Insta360 camera again? Yes, because they serve me well in terms of features and I have already ordered the Go3S, but instead of letting it sit for 20 days before I use it properly for the first time, I will do very strict checks within the 14-day return window, so I can send it back as soon as I notice something, to save my money. Also, after my experience with their customer service, I will keep an eye on the newer GoPro and DJI models, mainly because they have better customer service.
Την αγόρασα για να αντικαταστήσω την Insta360 Ace Pro πρώτης γενιάς που με άφησε πολύ ικανοποιημένο και ενώ η κάμερα είναι βελτιωμένη σε σχέση με την προκάτοχό της, τελικά αναγκάστηκα να την ξεφορτωθώ επειδή το σέρβις της Insta360 είναι για γέλια και για κλάματα.
Από άποψη διαστάσεων, είναι ακριβώς ίδια με την Ace Pro 1.
Οι διαφορές εξωτερικά εντοπίζονται κυρίως στα εξής:
1) Στο μπροστινό μικρόφωνο, όπου πλέον υπάρχει η επιλογή είτε για ένα πλαστικό αδιαβροχοποιητικό προστατευτικό για τη χρήση της στο νερό είτε για ένα windslayer που ελαττώνει αρκετά τον θόρυβο από τον αέρα.
2) Στην οθόνη, που πλέον είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη σε διαστάσεις και προσφέρει πολύ καλύτερη ανάλυση.
3) Στο προστατευτικό του φακού, που πλέον είναι αποσπώμενο και όχι κολλημένο, όπως στην Ace Pro 1. Οπότε αν υποστεί φθορά, μπορείτε να το αντικαταστήσετε πολύ εύκολα.
Εδώ όμως έρχεται και το 1ο της αρνητικό, αφού πλέον υπάρχει περίπτωση η κάμερα να εμφανίσει συμπύκνωση κατά τη χρήση και αυτός είναι ο λόγος που οι νεότερες παρτίδες έρχονται με ένα λαστιχάκι που «σφραγίζει» το κενό ανάμεσα στο σώμα της κάμερας και το προστατευτικό του φακού, αλλά που όμως φεύγει αρκετά εύκολα. Ευτυχώς, το πακέτο έχει και 2ο ως ανταλλακτικό, αλλά να έχετε υπόψη ότι τα περισσότερα μοντέλα της Insta360 έχουν θέμα συμπύκνωσης.
Από άποψη ποιότητας εικόνας και ήχου, οι διαφορές σε σχέση με την Ace Pro είναι αξιοσημείωτες μόνο στα εξής:
1) Μεγαλύτερο εύρος ορίζοντα. Η Ace Pro 2 καταγράφει σε μεγαλύτερο εύρος απ' ότι η Ace Pro 1. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έχετε τη δυνατότητα να τραβήξετε μεγαλύτερο μέρος ενός τοπίου ή το φόντο πίσω σας. Θα έλεγα ότι από άποψη εύρους ορίζοντα και fisheye effect είναι κάπου ανάμεσα από τις DJI και τις GoPro.
2) Πιο καθαρά βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό. Τα βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό εμφανίζουν λιγότερο θόρυβο και περισσότερη λεπτομέρεια από της Ace Pro 1, η οποία είχε ήδη εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις σε αυτό τον τομέα. Ωστόσο, τα χρώματα είναι υπερβολικά πιο θερμά και τα φώτα φαίνονται πιο θαμπά, με ένα «στεφάνι» γύρω τους.
3) Ο ήχος της είναι πιο καθαρός από της Ace Pro 1 και το εξωτερικό προστατευτικό βοηθάει αρκετά, αλλά νομίζω ότι έχει ακόμα αρκετό δρόμο μέχρι να φτάσει σε ποιότητα τις DJI.
4) Βγάζει καλύτερες φωτογραφίες και το ζουμ της είναι πολύ ανώτερο ποιοτικά από της Ace Pro 1.
Στα τεχνικά, έχει βελτιωμένο αισθητήρα, που όμως παραμένει στις ίδιες διαστάσεις με της Ace Pro 1, πάρα πολύ καλή σταθεροποίηση, μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και είναι πιο εύκολο να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως dashcam.
Κατά τα άλλα, μιλάμε για μια κάμερα με πολύ καλές επιδόσεις σε βίντεο μέχρι 8Κ, παρόλο που αν επιλέξετε την υψηλότερη ανάλυση θα δείτε ότι έχει πολύ έντονο cropping.
Αυτές οι βελτιώσεις, ωστόσο, αν και ευδιάκριτες από αυτές που μας έχουν συνηθίσει στα ετήσια μοντέλα τους η GoPro και DJI, δεν την καθιστούν μια κάμερα που πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να αποκτήσετε. Αν έχετε την AcePro 1, καλύτερα να περιμένετε για το μοντέλο του 2025 (Ace Pro 3; ). Μακάρι μόνο να είχα ακούσει κι εγώ τη συμβουλή μου...
Γενικότερα, ήταν ένα μοντέλο με αρκετά κατασκευαστικά προβλήματα, με σημαντικότερο, όπως είπα και πιο πάνω, το γεγονός εμφάνιζε condensation και χρειάστηκε να προστεθεί ένα λαστιχάκι εξωτερικά γύρω από τον φακό.
Η δικιά μου, ωστόσο, είχε ένα άλλο, εξίσου σοβαρό πρόβλημα: στραβό φακό, με αποτέλεσμα τα βίντεο να βγαίνουν αρκετά στραβά και να μην μπορώ να τα σώσω ούτε μέσω του λογισμικού της Insta360, ούτε μέσω του DaVinci. Επικοινώνησα με την εταιρεία και έπειτα από 1 μήνα καθημερινής επικοινωνίας, με το wetransfer να έχει πάρει φωτιά αφού μου ζητούσαν συνέχεια βίντεο σε διάφορες ρυθμίσεις ώστε να «εξακριβώσουν» το πρόβλημα, αναγκάστηκα να τσακωθώ μαζί τους και να τους αναγκάσω να μου στείλουν ticket ώστε να τη στείλω για έλεγχο, αλλά με απείλησαν ότι αν έκριναν ότι δεν είχε πρόβλημα, θα έπρεπε να τους «αποζημιώσω» για να μου τη στείλουν πίσω. Οπότε εδώ προέκυψε ζήτημα εμπιστοσύνης και αποφάσισα να την ξεφορτωθώ. Να σημειώσω εδώ ότι είχα συναναστροφές με την εξυπηρέτηση πελατών και της GoPro και της DJI και τα αποτελέσματα ήταν τα εξής:
1) GoPro Hero 10: το βίντεο έκανε ένα ανεπαίσθητο τρέμουλο στις στροφές και έπειτα από 1,5 χρόνο χρήσης (η GoPro δίνει 1 χρόνο εγγύηση), έστειλα μήνυμα στη GoPro και είπα ότι πιθανώς να έχει πρόβλημα στο γυροσκόπιο. Η απάντησή τους: μέσα σε 2 ώρες, ticket για επιστροφή και μέσα σε 2 μέρες μήνυμα με tracking code για την refurbished κάμερα αντικατάστασης! Δεν με ζάλισαν 1 μήνα, δεν με απείλησαν, ούτε περίμεναν να φτάσει η κάμερα. Και όλα αυτά ενώ η κάμερα ήταν εκτός εγγύησης γιατί την είχα 1,5 χρόνο.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: η κάμερα εμφάνιζε condensation και το gimbal συμπεριφέρονταν περίεργα αν το έκλεινες και το άνοιγες χωρίς να βγάλεις τον ευρυγώνιο φακό. Μέσα σε 15 λεπτά, και μόνο στην αναφορά του condensation, είχαν στείλει το ticket για επιστροφή. Τους είπα ότι πλησίαζαν Χριστούγεννα και τη χρειαζόμουν άμεσα για ένα ταξίδι και μου υποσχέθηκαν ότι θα έκαναν ό,τι μπορούσαν για να παραλάβω την καινούργια το συντομότερο δυνατό. Η κάμερα έφτασε στα γραφεία τους σε περίπου 1 εβδομάδα, μου έστειλαν αμέσως το tracking code και η DHL έφερε την κάμερα αντικατάστασης 1 μέρα νωρίτερα από το προβλεπόμενο. Όταν άνοιξα το κουτί, διαπίστωσα ότι δεν ήταν refurbished, αλλά μια ολοκαίνουργια, σφραγισμένη, με όλα της τα αξεσουάρ!
Αν θα επιλέξω ξανά κάμερα της Insta360; Ναι, γιατί με εξυπηρετούν πολύ από άποψη δυνατοτήτων και έχω ήδη παραγγείλει τη Go3S, αλλά αντί να την αφήσω να κάτσει 20 μέρες μέχρι να τη χρησιμοποιήσω κανονικά την πρώτη φορά, θα κάνω πολύ αυστηρούς ελέγχους μέσα στο 14ήμερο παράθυρο επιστροφών, ώστε να τη στείλω πίσω με το που θα παρατηρήσω κάτι, ώστε να σώσω τα χρήματά μου. Επίσης, έπειτα από την εμπειρία μου με το customer service τους, θα έχω τον νου μου και στις νεότερες GoPro και DJI, κυρίως γιατί έχουν καλύτερο customer service.

A lot of money for nothing. I bought it as the best camera on the market and in the end I sold it and got the Dji and I was saved.
The battery doesn't last long. Fortunately, the package had two batteries inside but you need a third one. With the Dji Action 5, I get many hours of continuous use with one battery. The front screen is just decorative. Neither of the two is OLED like the Dji's, while the size of the camera is as big as the Gopro. One thing I liked is the flip-up screen, but you only use it for low-angle shots a few times. Πολλά λεφτά για το τίποτα. Την αγόρασα ως τη καλύτερη κάμερα της αγοράς και τελικά την πούλησα και πήρα της Dji και σώθηκα.
Η μπαταρία δεν κραταει πολύ. Ευτυχώς είχε δύο μπαταρίες μέσα το πακέτο αλλά χρειάζεται 3η. Στην Dji action 5 με μια μπαταρία βγάζω πολλες ώρες συνεχούς χρήσης. Η οθόνη μπροστά διακοσμητική. Καμία από τις δύο δεν είνα oled οπως της Dji ενω το μέγεθος της κάμερας είναι μεγάλο σαν της Gopro. Κάτι που μου άρεσε είναι η flip up οθονη αλλά τα χαμηλά πλάνα τα βγάζεις ελάχιστες φορές. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα παραπάνω όταν και σε ποιότητα βίντεο και ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν έχει κάτι το ανώτερο να δείξει. Ίσως είναι ελαφρώς πιο καλή σε νυχτερινές λήψεις. Αλλά μικρή διαφορά. Έχει να προσφέρει κάτι διαφορετικό από άλλες κάμερες αλλά δεν δικαιολογείται να κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα. Αν κόστιζε τα μισά γύρω στα 300 ευρώ τότε θα μιλάγαμε αλλιώς.

First, let me say that before I made the purchase, I had the Ace pro 2 in my hands, which a friend lent me for 2 weeks and I used it quite a bit.
WHERE THE OSMO 5 EXCELS - WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE ACE PRO 2 TO HAVE.
1) The Osmo has front and back OLED screens and every time you want to take a quick selfie photo you don't need to open and close the foldable back screen. In fact, even from the small front one, you can operate the menu.
2) The Osmo is much smaller in size, and looks higher quality in plastics and construction, without meaning that the Ace pro 2 isn't good. You just feel it lighter, more hollow.
3) The Osmo's battery is bigger. It lasts more hours, charges quickly, makes life easier.
4) It has 47GB of internal memory, which is very important.
5) It shoots 10bit colors while the Ace pro 2 shoots in 8Bit.
6) Much lower purchase cost than the Ace Pro 2. I don't understand why it's such an expensive camera. It in no way justifies the price difference it has from the Osmo 5 pro which is better.
7) Better feeling shutter button, it's easy to press, while on the Ace pro 2 it needs force. The opposite happens with the camera's power button.
WHERE THE ACE PRO 2 EXCELS
1) The Ace pro 2's screen, being foldable, helps you shoot low angles without having to bend your head all the way down to see what you're shooting.
2) It shoots 8K resolution, which is insignificant or I would say unnecessary for the needs of most users.
3) It has a detachable cover for wind noise reduction.
4) You can press Pause while recording a video. Maybe the only thing I envy and the Osmo doesn't have.
5) You can apply image filter effects through the camera. Insignificant, but convenient for those who don't know or don't want to deal with video editing on a program either on the phone or PC.
6) It shoots slightly brighter videos at night than the Osmo 5.
The conclusions are yours. I think it depends on everyone's needs which camera suits them. But for me, both are top with a difference, it's just the price difference that makes the Ace pro 2 lose points.
If you get both in your hands, you'll understand that the Ace pro 2 is not worth its money when it has the Osmo against it.

Αρχικά να πω ότι πριν κάνω την αγορά, είχα στα χέρια μου την Ace pro 2 που μου δάνεισε φίλος για 2 βδομάδες και την δούλεψα αρκετά.β
ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η OSMO 5 - ΤΙ ΘΑ ΗΘΕΛΑ ΝΑ ΕΙΧΕ Η ACE PRO 2.
1) η Osmo εχει μπρος πίσω οθόνες oled και κάθε φορά που θες να βγάλεις μια γρήγορη σελφι φωτο δεν χρειάζεται να ανοιγοκλείνεις την αναδιπλούμενη πίσω οθόνη. Μάλιστα και από την μπροστινή τη μικρή, μπορείς να χειριστείς το μενού.
2) η osmo είναι πολύ πιο μικρή σε μέγεθος, και δείχνει ποιοτικότερη σε πλαστικά και κατασκευή, χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν είναι καλή. Απλά την νιώθεις πιο ελαφριά, πιο κούφια.
3) η μπαταρία της osmo είναι μεγαλύτερη. Kρατάει περισσότερες ώρες, φορτίζει γρήγορα, κάνει τη ζωή πιο εύκολη.
4) διαθέτει εσωτερική μνήμη 47gb, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό.
5) τραβάει 10bit χρώματα ενώ η Ace pro 2 σε 8Bit.
6) Πολύ Χαμηλότερο κόστος αγοράς από ότι η Ace Pro 2. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί είναι τόσο ακριβή κάμερα. Δεν δικαιολογεί σε καμία περίπτωση της διαφορά τιμής που έχει από την Osmo 5 pro η οποία είναι καλύτερη.
7) Καλύτερης αίσθησης κουμπί λήψεων, πατιεται εύκολα, ενώ στην Ace pro 2 θέλει δύναμη. Το αντίστροφο συμβαίνει με το κουμπί ενεργοποίησης της κάμερας.
ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η ACE PRO 2
1) Η oθόνη της Ace pro 2 με το να αναδιπλώνει σε βοηθάει να τραβήξεις χαμηλά πλάνα χωρίς να σκύβεις το κεφάλι τέρμα κάτω ωστε για να δεις τι τραβάς.
2) Tραβάει 8Κ ανάλυση, πράγμα ασήμαντο βέβαια η θα έλεγα περιττό για τις ανάγκες των περισσότερων χρηστών.
3) Διαθέτει αποσπώμενο κάλυμα για μειωση θορύβου αέρα.
4) Μπορείς να πατήσεις Pause την ώρα που τραβάς ενα βιντεο. Ίσως το μόνο που ζηλεύω και δεν έχει η osmo.
5) Μπορείς να εφαρμόσεις μέσω της κάμερας εφέ φίλτρα εικόνας. Aσημαντο, αλλά βολικό για όσους δεν ξέρουν ή δεν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν με την επεξεργασία βίντεο σε πρόγραμμα είτε στο κινητό είτε στον Η/Υ.
6) Βγάζει λίγο πιο φωτεινά βίντεο τη νύχτα από ότι η Osmo 5.
Τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας. Νομίζω ότι εξαρτάται από τις ανάγκες του καθενός ποια κάμερα του ταιριάζει. Και οι δύο όμως για μένα ειναι οι κορυφαίες με διαφορά απλά η διαφορά στη τιμή είναι που κάνει την Ace pro 2 να χάνει πόντους.
Αν πέσουν στα χέρια σας και οι δύο θα καταλάβετε ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα της όταν απέναντι της έχει την Osmo.
Fantastic resolution, easy to use, fast, beautiful construction. It is worth it even as a photo camera beyond being an action camera. For its price, it is far above any other action camera from every perspective. Also, the insta360 app is equally user-friendly with many features, especially in editing, as it finds the perfect edit with the help of AI.
For a more complete experience, I would recommend the xplorer kit and a 512gb SD card.
Φανταστική ανάλυση, εύχρηστη, γρήγορη, όμορφη κατασκευή. Αξίζει κ σαν φωτογραφική κάμερα πέρα από κάμερα δράσης. Για τα λεφτά της είναι πολύ πιο πάνω από οποιαδήποτε κάμερα άλλη action camera από κάθε οπτική.. Επίσης η εφαρμογή της insta360 είναι εξίσου εύχρηστη με πάρα πολλές παροχές ειδικά στο θέμα του edit καθώς βρίσκει το τέλειο edit με τη βοήθεια του AI.
Για πιο ολοκληρωμένη εμπειρία θα πρότεινα το xplorer kit και μια SD card 512gb.
I bought it to replace the first-generation Insta360 Ace Pro, which left me very satisfied, and while the camera is improved compared to its predecessor, I ultimately had to get rid of it because Insta360's service is laughable and pitiful.
In terms of dimensions, it is exactly the same as the Ace Pro 1.
The external differences are mainly as follows:
1) The front microphone, where now there is an option for either a plastic waterproof protective cover for use in water or a windslayer that significantly reduces wind noise.
2) The screen, which is now slightly larger in size and offers much better resolution.
3) The lens protector, which is now removable and not glued on like in the Ace Pro 1. So if it gets damaged, you can replace it very easily.
However, here comes its first negative, since now there is a chance the camera will show condensation during use, and this is why the newer batches come with a small rubber ring that "seals" the gap between the camera body and the lens protector, but it comes off quite easily. Fortunately, the package includes a second one as a spare, but keep in mind that most Insta360 models have condensation issues.
In terms of image and sound quality, the differences compared to the Ace Pro are notable only in the following:
1) Wider field of view. The Ace Pro 2 records a wider field than the Ace Pro 1. This means you can capture a larger part of a landscape or the background behind you. I would say that in terms of field of view and fisheye effect, it is somewhere between DJI and GoPro.
2) Cleaner videos in low light. Videos in low light show less noise and more detail than the Ace Pro 1, which already had excellent performance in this area. However, the colors are excessively warmer and the lights look blurrier, with a "halo" around them.
3) The sound is clearer than the Ace Pro 1 and the external protector helps a lot, but I think it still has a long way to go to reach DJI quality.
4) It takes better photos and its zoom is much higher quality than the Ace Pro 1.
On the technical side, it has an improved sensor, which remains the same size as the Ace Pro 1, very good stabilization, longer battery life, and is easier to use as a dashcam.
Otherwise, we're talking about a camera with very good video performance up to 8K, although if you choose the highest resolution you will notice a lot of cropping.
These improvements, however, although noticeable compared to what we are used to from GoPro and DJI's annual models, do not make it a camera you absolutely must get. If you have the AcePro 1, it's better to wait for the 2025 model (Ace Pro 3?). I only wish I had listened to my own advice...
Overall, it was a model with quite a few manufacturing problems, the most important, as I mentioned above, being the fact that it showed condensation and required an external rubber ring around the lens.
Mine, however, had another equally serious problem: a crooked lens, resulting in the videos coming out quite skewed and I couldn't fix them either through Insta360's software or through DaVinci. I contacted the company and after 1 month of daily communication, with wetransfer being on fire since they kept asking me for videos in various settings to "verify" the problem, I was forced to argue with them and make them send me a ticket so I could send it in for inspection, but they threatened me that if they determined there was no problem, I would have to "compensate" them in order to get it back. So here arose a matter of trust and I decided to get rid of it. I should note here that I have had interactions with the customer service of both GoPro and DJI and the results were as follows:
1) GoPro Hero 10: the video had a barely noticeable shake on turns and after 1.5 years of use (GoPro gives a 1-year warranty), I sent a message to GoPro and said that it might have a problem with the gyroscope. Their response: within 2 hours, a return ticket and within 2 days a message with a tracking code for the refurbished replacement camera! They didn't hassle me for a month, didn't threaten me, nor did they wait for the camera to arrive. And all this while the camera was out of warranty because I had it for 1.5 years.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: the camera showed condensation and the gimbal behaved strangely if you turned it off and on without removing the wide-angle lens. Within 15 minutes, and just upon mentioning the condensation, they had sent the return ticket. I told them that Christmas was approaching and I needed it urgently for a trip and they promised to do everything they could so I could receive the new one as soon as possible. The camera arrived at their offices in about a week, they immediately sent me the tracking code and DHL delivered the replacement camera 1 day earlier than expected. When I opened the box, I found that it was not refurbished, but brand new, sealed, with all its accessories!
Will I choose an Insta360 camera again? Yes, because they serve me well in terms of features and I have already ordered the Go3S, but instead of letting it sit for 20 days before I use it properly for the first time, I will do very strict checks within the 14-day return window, so I can send it back as soon as I notice something, to save my money. Also, after my experience with their customer service, I will keep an eye on the newer GoPro and DJI models, mainly because they have better customer service.
Την αγόρασα για να αντικαταστήσω την Insta360 Ace Pro πρώτης γενιάς που με άφησε πολύ ικανοποιημένο και ενώ η κάμερα είναι βελτιωμένη σε σχέση με την προκάτοχό της, τελικά αναγκάστηκα να την ξεφορτωθώ επειδή το σέρβις της Insta360 είναι για γέλια και για κλάματα.
Από άποψη διαστάσεων, είναι ακριβώς ίδια με την Ace Pro 1.
Οι διαφορές εξωτερικά εντοπίζονται κυρίως στα εξής:
1) Στο μπροστινό μικρόφωνο, όπου πλέον υπάρχει η επιλογή είτε για ένα πλαστικό αδιαβροχοποιητικό προστατευτικό για τη χρήση της στο νερό είτε για ένα windslayer που ελαττώνει αρκετά τον θόρυβο από τον αέρα.
2) Στην οθόνη, που πλέον είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη σε διαστάσεις και προσφέρει πολύ καλύτερη ανάλυση.
3) Στο προστατευτικό του φακού, που πλέον είναι αποσπώμενο και όχι κολλημένο, όπως στην Ace Pro 1. Οπότε αν υποστεί φθορά, μπορείτε να το αντικαταστήσετε πολύ εύκολα.
Εδώ όμως έρχεται και το 1ο της αρνητικό, αφού πλέον υπάρχει περίπτωση η κάμερα να εμφανίσει συμπύκνωση κατά τη χρήση και αυτός είναι ο λόγος που οι νεότερες παρτίδες έρχονται με ένα λαστιχάκι που «σφραγίζει» το κενό ανάμεσα στο σώμα της κάμερας και το προστατευτικό του φακού, αλλά που όμως φεύγει αρκετά εύκολα. Ευτυχώς, το πακέτο έχει και 2ο ως ανταλλακτικό, αλλά να έχετε υπόψη ότι τα περισσότερα μοντέλα της Insta360 έχουν θέμα συμπύκνωσης.
Από άποψη ποιότητας εικόνας και ήχου, οι διαφορές σε σχέση με την Ace Pro είναι αξιοσημείωτες μόνο στα εξής:
1) Μεγαλύτερο εύρος ορίζοντα. Η Ace Pro 2 καταγράφει σε μεγαλύτερο εύρος απ' ότι η Ace Pro 1. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έχετε τη δυνατότητα να τραβήξετε μεγαλύτερο μέρος ενός τοπίου ή το φόντο πίσω σας. Θα έλεγα ότι από άποψη εύρους ορίζοντα και fisheye effect είναι κάπου ανάμεσα από τις DJI και τις GoPro.
2) Πιο καθαρά βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό. Τα βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό εμφανίζουν λιγότερο θόρυβο και περισσότερη λεπτομέρεια από της Ace Pro 1, η οποία είχε ήδη εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις σε αυτό τον τομέα. Ωστόσο, τα χρώματα είναι υπερβολικά πιο θερμά και τα φώτα φαίνονται πιο θαμπά, με ένα «στεφάνι» γύρω τους.
3) Ο ήχος της είναι πιο καθαρός από της Ace Pro 1 και το εξωτερικό προστατευτικό βοηθάει αρκετά, αλλά νομίζω ότι έχει ακόμα αρκετό δρόμο μέχρι να φτάσει σε ποιότητα τις DJI.
4) Βγάζει καλύτερες φωτογραφίες και το ζουμ της είναι πολύ ανώτερο ποιοτικά από της Ace Pro 1.
Στα τεχνικά, έχει βελτιωμένο αισθητήρα, που όμως παραμένει στις ίδιες διαστάσεις με της Ace Pro 1, πάρα πολύ καλή σταθεροποίηση, μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και είναι πιο εύκολο να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως dashcam.
Κατά τα άλλα, μιλάμε για μια κάμερα με πολύ καλές επιδόσεις σε βίντεο μέχρι 8Κ, παρόλο που αν επιλέξετε την υψηλότερη ανάλυση θα δείτε ότι έχει πολύ έντονο cropping.
Αυτές οι βελτιώσεις, ωστόσο, αν και ευδιάκριτες από αυτές που μας έχουν συνηθίσει στα ετήσια μοντέλα τους η GoPro και DJI, δεν την καθιστούν μια κάμερα που πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να αποκτήσετε. Αν έχετε την AcePro 1, καλύτερα να περιμένετε για το μοντέλο του 2025 (Ace Pro 3; ). Μακάρι μόνο να είχα ακούσει κι εγώ τη συμβουλή μου...
Γενικότερα, ήταν ένα μοντέλο με αρκετά κατασκευαστικά προβλήματα, με σημαντικότερο, όπως είπα και πιο πάνω, το γεγονός εμφάνιζε condensation και χρειάστηκε να προστεθεί ένα λαστιχάκι εξωτερικά γύρω από τον φακό.
Η δικιά μου, ωστόσο, είχε ένα άλλο, εξίσου σοβαρό πρόβλημα: στραβό φακό, με αποτέλεσμα τα βίντεο να βγαίνουν αρκετά στραβά και να μην μπορώ να τα σώσω ούτε μέσω του λογισμικού της Insta360, ούτε μέσω του DaVinci. Επικοινώνησα με την εταιρεία και έπειτα από 1 μήνα καθημερινής επικοινωνίας, με το wetransfer να έχει πάρει φωτιά αφού μου ζητούσαν συνέχεια βίντεο σε διάφορες ρυθμίσεις ώστε να «εξακριβώσουν» το πρόβλημα, αναγκάστηκα να τσακωθώ μαζί τους και να τους αναγκάσω να μου στείλουν ticket ώστε να τη στείλω για έλεγχο, αλλά με απείλησαν ότι αν έκριναν ότι δεν είχε πρόβλημα, θα έπρεπε να τους «αποζημιώσω» για να μου τη στείλουν πίσω. Οπότε εδώ προέκυψε ζήτημα εμπιστοσύνης και αποφάσισα να την ξεφορτωθώ. Να σημειώσω εδώ ότι είχα συναναστροφές με την εξυπηρέτηση πελατών και της GoPro και της DJI και τα αποτελέσματα ήταν τα εξής:
1) GoPro Hero 10: το βίντεο έκανε ένα ανεπαίσθητο τρέμουλο στις στροφές και έπειτα από 1,5 χρόνο χρήσης (η GoPro δίνει 1 χρόνο εγγύηση), έστειλα μήνυμα στη GoPro και είπα ότι πιθανώς να έχει πρόβλημα στο γυροσκόπιο. Η απάντησή τους: μέσα σε 2 ώρες, ticket για επιστροφή και μέσα σε 2 μέρες μήνυμα με tracking code για την refurbished κάμερα αντικατάστασης! Δεν με ζάλισαν 1 μήνα, δεν με απείλησαν, ούτε περίμεναν να φτάσει η κάμερα. Και όλα αυτά ενώ η κάμερα ήταν εκτός εγγύησης γιατί την είχα 1,5 χρόνο.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: η κάμερα εμφάνιζε condensation και το gimbal συμπεριφέρονταν περίεργα αν το έκλεινες και το άνοιγες χωρίς να βγάλεις τον ευρυγώνιο φακό. Μέσα σε 15 λεπτά, και μόνο στην αναφορά του condensation, είχαν στείλει το ticket για επιστροφή. Τους είπα ότι πλησίαζαν Χριστούγεννα και τη χρειαζόμουν άμεσα για ένα ταξίδι και μου υποσχέθηκαν ότι θα έκαναν ό,τι μπορούσαν για να παραλάβω την καινούργια το συντομότερο δυνατό. Η κάμερα έφτασε στα γραφεία τους σε περίπου 1 εβδομάδα, μου έστειλαν αμέσως το tracking code και η DHL έφερε την κάμερα αντικατάστασης 1 μέρα νωρίτερα από το προβλεπόμενο. Όταν άνοιξα το κουτί, διαπίστωσα ότι δεν ήταν refurbished, αλλά μια ολοκαίνουργια, σφραγισμένη, με όλα της τα αξεσουάρ!
Αν θα επιλέξω ξανά κάμερα της Insta360; Ναι, γιατί με εξυπηρετούν πολύ από άποψη δυνατοτήτων και έχω ήδη παραγγείλει τη Go3S, αλλά αντί να την αφήσω να κάτσει 20 μέρες μέχρι να τη χρησιμοποιήσω κανονικά την πρώτη φορά, θα κάνω πολύ αυστηρούς ελέγχους μέσα στο 14ήμερο παράθυρο επιστροφών, ώστε να τη στείλω πίσω με το που θα παρατηρήσω κάτι, ώστε να σώσω τα χρήματά μου. Επίσης, έπειτα από την εμπειρία μου με το customer service τους, θα έχω τον νου μου και στις νεότερες GoPro και DJI, κυρίως γιατί έχουν καλύτερο customer service.

A lot of money for nothing. I bought it as the best camera on the market and in the end I sold it and got the Dji and I was saved.
The battery doesn't last long. Fortunately, the package had two batteries inside but you need a third one. With the Dji Action 5, I get many hours of continuous use with one battery. The front screen is just decorative. Neither of the two is OLED like the Dji's, while the size of the camera is as big as the Gopro. One thing I liked is the flip-up screen, but you only use it for low-angle shots a few times. I don't understand why it costs so much more when, in terms of video quality and build quality, it doesn't have anything superior to show. Maybe it's slightly better in night shots. But that's a small difference. It has something different to offer compared to other cameras but it doesn't justify costing so much. If it cost half, around 300 euros, then we would be talking differently.
Πολλά λεφτά για το τίποτα. Την αγόρασα ως τη καλύτερη κάμερα της αγοράς και τελικά την πούλησα και πήρα της Dji και σώθηκα.
Η μπαταρία δεν κραταει πολύ. Ευτυχώς είχε δύο μπαταρίες μέσα το πακέτο αλλά χρειάζεται 3η. Στην Dji action 5 με μια μπαταρία βγάζω πολλες ώρες συνεχούς χρήσης. Η οθόνη μπροστά διακοσμητική. Καμία από τις δύο δεν είνα oled οπως της Dji ενω το μέγεθος της κάμερας είναι μεγάλο σαν της Gopro. Κάτι που μου άρεσε είναι η flip up οθονη αλλά τα χαμηλά πλάνα τα βγάζεις ελάχιστες φορές. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα παραπάνω όταν και σε ποιότητα βίντεο και ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν έχει κάτι το ανώτερο να δείξει. Ίσως είναι ελαφρώς πιο καλή σε νυχτερινές λήψεις. Αλλά μικρή διαφορά. Έχει να προσφέρει κάτι διαφορετικό από άλλες κάμερες αλλά δεν δικαιολογείται να κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα. Αν κόστιζε τα μισά γύρω στα 300 ευρώ τότε θα μιλάγαμε αλλιώς.

First, let me say that before I made the purchase, I had the Ace pro 2 in my hands, which a friend lent me for 2 weeks and I used it quite a bit.
WHERE THE OSMO 5 EXCELS - WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE ACE PRO 2 TO HAVE.
1) The Osmo has front and back OLED screens and every time you want to take a quick selfie photo you don't need to open and close the foldable back screen. In fact, even from the small front one, you can operate the menu.
2) The Osmo is much smaller in size, and looks higher quality in plastics and construction, without meaning that the Ace pro 2 isn't good. You just feel it lighter, more hollow.
3) The Osmo's battery is bigger. It lasts more hours, charges quickly, makes life easier.
4) It has 47GB of internal memory, which is very important.
5) It shoots 10bit colors while the Ace pro 2 shoots in 8Bit.
6) Much lower purchase cost than the Ace Pro 2. I don't understand why it's such an expensive camera. It in no way justifies the price difference it has from the Osmo 5 pro which is better.
7) Better feeling shutter button, it's easy to press, while on the Ace pro 2 it needs force. The opposite happens with the camera's power button.
WHERE THE ACE PRO 2 EXCELS
1) The Ace pro 2's screen, being foldable, helps you shoot low angles without having to bend your head all the way down to see what you're shooting.
2) It shoots 8K resolution, which is insignificant or I would say unnecessary for the needs of most users.
3) It has a detachable cover for wind noise reduction.
4) You can press Pause while recording a video. Maybe the only thing I envy and the Osmo doesn't have.
5) You can apply image filter effects through the camera. Insignificant, but convenient for those who don't know or don't want to deal with video editing on a program either on the phone or PC.
6) It shoots slightly brighter videos at night than the Osmo 5.
The conclusions are yours. I think it depends on everyone's needs which camera suits them. But for me, both are top with a difference, it's just the price difference that makes the Ace pro 2 lose points.
If you get both in your hands, you'll understand that the Ace pro 2 is not worth its money when it has the Osmo against it.

ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η OSMO 5 - ΤΙ ΘΑ ΗΘΕΛΑ ΝΑ ΕΙΧΕ Η ACE PRO 2.
1) η Osmo εχει μπρος πίσω οθόνες oled και κάθε φορά που θες να βγάλεις μια γρήγορη σελφι φωτο δεν χρειάζεται να ανοιγοκλείνεις την αναδιπλούμενη πίσω οθόνη. Μάλιστα και από την μπροστινή τη μικρή, μπορείς να χειριστείς το μενού.
2) η osmo είναι πολύ πιο μικρή σε μέγεθος, και δείχνει ποιοτικότερη σε πλαστικά και κατασκευή, χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν είναι καλή. Απλά την νιώθεις πιο ελαφριά, πιο κούφια.
3) η μπαταρία της osmo είναι μεγαλύτερη. Kρατάει περισσότερες ώρες, φορτίζει γρήγορα, κάνει τη ζωή πιο εύκολη.
4) διαθέτει εσωτερική μνήμη 47gb, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό.

7) Καλύτερης αίσθησης κουμπί λήψεων, πατιεται εύκολα, ενώ στην Ace pro 2 θέλει δύναμη. Το αντίστροφο συμβαίνει με το κουμπί ενεργοποίησης της κάμερας.
ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η ACE PRO 2
1) Η oθόνη της Ace pro 2 με το να αναδιπλώνει σε βοηθάει να τραβήξεις χαμηλά πλάνα χωρίς να σκύβεις το κεφάλι τέρμα κάτω ωστε για να δεις τι τραβάς.
2) Tραβάει 8Κ ανάλυση, πράγμα ασήμαντο βέβαια η θα έλεγα περιττό για τις ανάγκες των περισσότερων χρηστών.
3) Διαθέτει αποσπώμενο κάλυμα για μειωση θορύβου αέρα.
4) Μπορείς να πατήσεις Pause την ώρα που τραβάς ενα βιντεο. Ίσως το μόνο που ζηλεύω και δεν έχει η osmo.
5) Μπορείς να εφαρμόσεις μέσω της κάμερας εφέ φίλτρα εικόνας. Aσημαντο, αλλά βολικό για όσους δεν ξέρουν ή δεν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν με την επεξεργασία βίντεο σε πρόγραμμα είτε στο κινητό είτε στον Η/Υ.
6) Βγάζει λίγο πιο φωτεινά βίντεο τη νύχτα από ότι η Osmo 5.
Τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας. Νομίζω ότι εξαρτάται από τις ανάγκες του καθενός ποια κάμερα του ταιριάζει. Και οι δύο όμως για μένα ειναι οι κορυφαίες με διαφορά απλά η διαφορά στη τιμή είναι που κάνει την Ace pro 2 να χάνει πόντους.
Αν πέσουν στα χέρια σας και οι δύο θα καταλάβετε ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα της όταν απέναντι της έχει την Osmo.
Fantastic resolution, easy to use, fast, beautiful construction. It is worth it even as a photo camera beyond being an action camera. For its price, it is far above any other action camera from every perspective. Also, the insta360 app is equally user-friendly with many features, especially in editing, as it finds the perfect edit with the help of AI.
For a more complete experience, I would recommend the xplorer kit and a 512gb SD card.
Φανταστική ανάλυση, εύχρηστη, γρήγορη, όμορφη κατασκευή. Αξίζει κ σαν φωτογραφική κάμερα πέρα από κάμερα δράσης. Για τα λεφτά της είναι πολύ πιο πάνω από οποιαδήποτε κάμερα άλλη action camera από κάθε οπτική.. Επίσης η εφαρμογή της insta360 είναι εξίσου εύχρηστη με πάρα πολλές παροχές ειδικά στο θέμα του edit καθώς βρίσκει το τέλειο edit με τη βοήθεια του AI.
Για πιο ολοκληρωμένη εμπειρία θα πρότεινα το xplorer kit και μια SD card 512gb.
I bought it to replace the first-generation Insta360 Ace Pro, which left me very satisfied, and while the camera is improved compared to its predecessor, I ultimately had to get rid of it because Insta360's service is laughable and pitiful.
In terms of dimensions, it is exactly the same as the Ace Pro 1.
The external differences are mainly as follows:
1) The front microphone, where now there is an option for either a plastic waterproof protective cover for use in water or a windslayer that significantly reduces wind noise.
2) The screen, which is now slightly larger in size and offers much better resolution.
3) The lens protector, which is now removable and not glued on like in the Ace Pro 1. So if it gets damaged, you can replace it very easily.
However, here comes its first negative, since now there is a chance the camera will show condensation during use, and this is why the newer batches come with a small rubber ring that "seals" the gap between the camera body and the lens protector, but it comes off quite easily. Fortunately, the package includes a second one as a spare, but keep in mind that most Insta360 models have condensation issues.
In terms of image and sound quality, the differences compared to the Ace Pro are notable only in the following:
1) Wider field of view. The Ace Pro 2 records a wider field than the Ace Pro 1. This means you can capture a larger part of a landscape or the background behind you. I would say that in terms of field of view and fisheye effect, it is somewhere between DJI and GoPro.
2) Cleaner videos in low light. Videos in low light show less noise and more detail than the Ace Pro 1, which already had excellent performance in this area. However, the colors are excessively warmer and the lights look blurrier, with a "halo" around them.
3) The sound is clearer than the Ace Pro 1 and the external protector helps a lot, but I think it still has a long way to go to reach DJI quality.
4) It takes better photos and its zoom is much higher quality than the Ace Pro 1.
On the technical side, it has an improved sensor, which remains the same size as the Ace Pro 1, very good stabilization, longer battery life, and is easier to use as a dashcam.
Otherwise, we're talking about a camera with very good video performance up to 8K, although if you choose the highest resolution you will notice a lot of cropping.
These improvements, however, although noticeable compared to what we are used to from GoPro and DJI's annual models, do not make it a camera you absolutely must get. If you have the AcePro 1, it's better to wait for the 2025 model (Ace Pro 3?). I only wish I had listened to my own advice...
Overall, it was a model with quite a few manufacturing problems, the most important, as I mentioned above, being the fact that it showed condensation and required an external rubber ring around the lens.
Mine, however, had another equally serious problem: a crooked lens, resulting in the videos coming out quite skewed and I couldn't fix them either through Insta360's software or through DaVinci. I contacted the company and after 1 month of daily communication, with wetransfer being on fire since they kept asking me for videos in various settings to "verify" the problem, I was forced to argue with them and make them send me a ticket so I could send it in for inspection, but they threatened me that if they determined there was no problem, I would have to "compensate" them in order to get it back. So here arose a matter of trust and I decided to get rid of it. I should note here that I have had interactions with the customer service of both GoPro and DJI and the results were as follows:
1) GoPro Hero 10: the video had a barely noticeable shake on turns and after 1.5 years of use (GoPro gives a 1-year warranty), I sent a message to GoPro and said that it might have a problem with the gyroscope. Their response: within 2 hours, a return ticket and within 2 days a message with a tracking code for the refurbished replacement camera! They didn't hassle me for a month, didn't threaten me, nor did they wait for the camera to arrive. And all this while the camera was out of warranty because I had it for 1.5 years.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: the camera showed condensation and the gimbal behaved strangely if you turned it off and on without removing the wide-angle lens. Within 15 minutes, and just upon mentioning the condensation, they had sent the return ticket. I told them that Christmas was approaching and I needed it urgently for a trip and they promised to do everything they could so I could receive the new one as soon as possible. The camera arrived at their offices in about a week, they immediately sent me the tracking code and DHL delivered the replacement camera 1 day earlier than expected. When I opened the box, I found that it was not refurbished, but brand new, sealed, with all its accessories!
Will I choose an Insta360 camera again? Yes, because they serve me well in terms of features and I have already ordered the Go3S, but instead of letting it sit for 20 days before I use it properly for the first time, I will do very strict checks within the 14-day return window, so I can send it back as soon as I notice something, to save my money. Also, after my experience with their customer service, I will keep an eye on the newer GoPro and DJI models, mainly because they have better customer service.
Την αγόρασα για να αντικαταστήσω την Insta360 Ace Pro πρώτης γενιάς που με άφησε πολύ ικανοποιημένο και ενώ η κάμερα είναι βελτιωμένη σε σχέση με την προκάτοχό της, τελικά αναγκάστηκα να την ξεφορτωθώ επειδή το σέρβις της Insta360 είναι για γέλια και για κλάματα.
Από άποψη διαστάσεων, είναι ακριβώς ίδια με την Ace Pro 1.
Οι διαφορές εξωτερικά εντοπίζονται κυρίως στα εξής:
1) Στο μπροστινό μικρόφωνο, όπου πλέον υπάρχει η επιλογή είτε για ένα πλαστικό αδιαβροχοποιητικό προστατευτικό για τη χρήση της στο νερό είτε για ένα windslayer που ελαττώνει αρκετά τον θόρυβο από τον αέρα.
2) Στην οθόνη, που πλέον είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη σε διαστάσεις και προσφέρει πολύ καλύτερη ανάλυση.
3) Στο προστατευτικό του φακού, που πλέον είναι αποσπώμενο και όχι κολλημένο, όπως στην Ace Pro 1. Οπότε αν υποστεί φθορά, μπορείτε να το αντικαταστήσετε πολύ εύκολα.
Εδώ όμως έρχεται και το 1ο της αρνητικό, αφού πλέον υπάρχει περίπτωση η κάμερα να εμφανίσει συμπύκνωση κατά τη χρήση και αυτός είναι ο λόγος που οι νεότερες παρτίδες έρχονται με ένα λαστιχάκι που «σφραγίζει» το κενό ανάμεσα στο σώμα της κάμερας και το προστατευτικό του φακού, αλλά που όμως φεύγει αρκετά εύκολα. Ευτυχώς, το πακέτο έχει και 2ο ως ανταλλακτικό, αλλά να έχετε υπόψη ότι τα περισσότερα μοντέλα της Insta360 έχουν θέμα συμπύκνωσης.
Από άποψη ποιότητας εικόνας και ήχου, οι διαφορές σε σχέση με την Ace Pro είναι αξιοσημείωτες μόνο στα εξής:
1) Μεγαλύτερο εύρος ορίζοντα. Η Ace Pro 2 καταγράφει σε μεγαλύτερο εύρος απ' ότι η Ace Pro 1. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έχετε τη δυνατότητα να τραβήξετε μεγαλύτερο μέρος ενός τοπίου ή το φόντο πίσω σας. Θα έλεγα ότι από άποψη εύρους ορίζοντα και fisheye effect είναι κάπου ανάμεσα από τις DJI και τις GoPro.
2) Πιο καθαρά βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό. Τα βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό εμφανίζουν λιγότερο θόρυβο και περισσότερη λεπτομέρεια από της Ace Pro 1, η οποία είχε ήδη εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις σε αυτό τον τομέα. Ωστόσο, τα χρώματα είναι υπερβολικά πιο θερμά και τα φώτα φαίνονται πιο θαμπά, με ένα «στεφάνι» γύρω τους.
3) Ο ήχος της είναι πιο καθαρός από της Ace Pro 1 και το εξωτερικό προστατευτικό βοηθάει αρκετά, αλλά νομίζω ότι έχει ακόμα αρκετό δρόμο μέχρι να φτάσει σε ποιότητα τις DJI.
4) Βγάζει καλύτερες φωτογραφίες και το ζουμ της είναι πολύ ανώτερο ποιοτικά από της Ace Pro 1.
Στα τεχνικά, έχει βελτιωμένο αισθητήρα, που όμως παραμένει στις ίδιες διαστάσεις με της Ace Pro 1, πάρα πολύ καλή σταθεροποίηση, μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και είναι πιο εύκολο να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως dashcam.
Κατά τα άλλα, μιλάμε για μια κάμερα με πολύ καλές επιδόσεις σε βίντεο μέχρι 8Κ, παρόλο που αν επιλέξετε την υψηλότερη ανάλυση θα δείτε ότι έχει πολύ έντονο cropping.
Αυτές οι βελτιώσεις, ωστόσο, αν και ευδιάκριτες από αυτές που μας έχουν συνηθίσει στα ετήσια μοντέλα τους η GoPro και DJI, δεν την καθιστούν μια κάμερα που πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να αποκτήσετε. Αν έχετε την AcePro 1, καλύτερα να περιμένετε για το μοντέλο του 2025 (Ace Pro 3; ). Μακάρι μόνο να είχα ακούσει κι εγώ τη συμβουλή μου...
Γενικότερα, ήταν ένα μοντέλο με αρκετά κατασκευαστικά προβλήματα, με σημαντικότερο, όπως είπα και πιο πάνω, το γεγονός εμφάνιζε condensation και χρειάστηκε να προστεθεί ένα λαστιχάκι εξωτερικά γύρω από τον φακό.
Η δικιά μου, ωστόσο, είχε ένα άλλο, εξίσου σοβαρό πρόβλημα: στραβό φακό, με αποτέλεσμα τα βίντεο να βγαίνουν αρκετά στραβά και να μην μπορώ να τα σώσω ούτε μέσω του λογισμικού της Insta360, ούτε μέσω του DaVinci. Επικοινώνησα με την εταιρεία και έπειτα από 1 μήνα καθημερινής επικοινωνίας, με το wetransfer να έχει πάρει φωτιά αφού μου ζητούσαν συνέχεια βίντεο σε διάφορες ρυθμίσεις ώστε να «εξακριβώσουν» το πρόβλημα, αναγκάστηκα να τσακωθώ μαζί τους και να τους αναγκάσω να μου στείλουν ticket ώστε να τη στείλω για έλεγχο, αλλά με απείλησαν ότι αν έκριναν ότι δεν είχε πρόβλημα, θα έπρεπε να τους «αποζημιώσω» για να μου τη στείλουν πίσω. Οπότε εδώ προέκυψε ζήτημα εμπιστοσύνης και αποφάσισα να την ξεφορτωθώ. Να σημειώσω εδώ ότι είχα συναναστροφές με την εξυπηρέτηση πελατών και της GoPro και της DJI και τα αποτελέσματα ήταν τα εξής:
1) GoPro Hero 10: το βίντεο έκανε ένα ανεπαίσθητο τρέμουλο στις στροφές και έπειτα από 1,5 χρόνο χρήσης (η GoPro δίνει 1 χρόνο εγγύηση), έστειλα μήνυμα στη GoPro και είπα ότι πιθανώς να έχει πρόβλημα στο γυροσκόπιο. Η απάντησή τους: μέσα σε 2 ώρες, ticket για επιστροφή και μέσα σε 2 μέρες μήνυμα με tracking code για την refurbished κάμερα αντικατάστασης! Δεν με ζάλισαν 1 μήνα, δεν με απείλησαν, ούτε περίμεναν να φτάσει η κάμερα. Και όλα αυτά ενώ η κάμερα ήταν εκτός εγγύησης γιατί την είχα 1,5 χρόνο.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: η κάμερα εμφάνιζε condensation και το gimbal συμπεριφέρονταν περίεργα αν το έκλεινες και το άνοιγες χωρίς να βγάλεις τον ευρυγώνιο φακό. Μέσα σε 15 λεπτά, και μόνο στην αναφορά του condensation, είχαν στείλει το ticket για επιστροφή. Τους είπα ότι πλησίαζαν Χριστούγεννα και τη χρειαζόμουν άμεσα για ένα ταξίδι και μου υποσχέθηκαν ότι θα έκαναν ό,τι μπορούσαν για να παραλάβω την καινούργια το συντομότερο δυνατό. Η κάμερα έφτασε στα γραφεία τους σε περίπου 1 εβδομάδα, μου έστειλαν αμέσως το tracking code και η DHL έφερε την κάμερα αντικατάστασης 1 μέρα νωρίτερα από το προβλεπόμενο. Όταν άνοιξα το κουτί, διαπίστωσα ότι δεν ήταν refurbished, αλλά μια ολοκαίνουργια, σφραγισμένη, με όλα της τα αξεσουάρ!
Αν θα επιλέξω ξανά κάμερα της Insta360; Ναι, γιατί με εξυπηρετούν πολύ από άποψη δυνατοτήτων και έχω ήδη παραγγείλει τη Go3S, αλλά αντί να την αφήσω να κάτσει 20 μέρες μέχρι να τη χρησιμοποιήσω κανονικά την πρώτη φορά, θα κάνω πολύ αυστηρούς ελέγχους μέσα στο 14ήμερο παράθυρο επιστροφών, ώστε να τη στείλω πίσω με το που θα παρατηρήσω κάτι, ώστε να σώσω τα χρήματά μου. Επίσης, έπειτα από την εμπειρία μου με το customer service τους, θα έχω τον νου μου και στις νεότερες GoPro και DJI, κυρίως γιατί έχουν καλύτερο customer service.

A lot of money for nothing. I bought it as the best camera on the market and in the end I sold it and got the Dji and I was saved.
The battery doesn't last long. Fortunately, the package had two batteries inside but you need a third one. With the Dji Action 5, I get many hours of continuous use with one battery. The front screen is just decorative. Neither of the two is OLED like the Dji's, while the size of the camera is as big as the Gopro. One thing I liked is the flip-up screen, but you only use it for low-angle shots a few times. Πολλά λεφτά για το τίποτα. Την αγόρασα ως τη καλύτερη κάμερα της αγοράς και τελικά την πούλησα και πήρα της Dji και σώθηκα.
Η μπαταρία δεν κραταει πολύ. Ευτυχώς είχε δύο μπαταρίες μέσα το πακέτο αλλά χρειάζεται 3η. Στην Dji action 5 με μια μπαταρία βγάζω πολλες ώρες συνεχούς χρήσης. Η οθόνη μπροστά διακοσμητική. Καμία από τις δύο δεν είνα oled οπως της Dji ενω το μέγεθος της κάμερας είναι μεγάλο σαν της Gopro. Κάτι που μου άρεσε είναι η flip up οθονη αλλά τα χαμηλά πλάνα τα βγάζεις ελάχιστες φορές. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα παραπάνω όταν και σε ποιότητα βίντεο και ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν έχει κάτι το ανώτερο να δείξει. Ίσως είναι ελαφρώς πιο καλή σε νυχτερινές λήψεις. Αλλά μικρή διαφορά. Έχει να προσφέρει κάτι διαφορετικό από άλλες κάμερες αλλά δεν δικαιολογείται να κοστίζει τόσα χρήματα. Αν κόστιζε τα μισά γύρω στα 300 ευρώ τότε θα μιλάγαμε αλλιώς.

First, let me say that before I made the purchase, I had the Ace pro 2 in my hands, which a friend lent me for 2 weeks and I used it quite a bit.
WHERE THE OSMO 5 EXCELS - WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE ACE PRO 2 TO HAVE.
1) The Osmo has front and back OLED screens and every time you want to take a quick selfie photo you don't need to open and close the foldable back screen. In fact, even from the small front one, you can operate the menu.
2) The Osmo is much smaller in size, and looks higher quality in plastics and construction, without meaning that the Ace pro 2 isn't good. You just feel it lighter, more hollow.
3) The Osmo's battery is bigger. It lasts more hours, charges quickly, makes life easier.
4) It has 47GB of internal memory, which is very important.
5) It shoots 10bit colors while the Ace pro 2 shoots in 8Bit.
6) Much lower purchase cost than the Ace Pro 2. I don't understand why it's such an expensive camera. It in no way justifies the price difference it has from the Osmo 5 pro which is better.
7) Better feeling shutter button, it's easy to press, while on the Ace pro 2 it needs force. The opposite happens with the camera's power button.
WHERE THE ACE PRO 2 EXCELS
1) The Ace pro 2's screen, being foldable, helps you shoot low angles without having to bend your head all the way down to see what you're shooting.
2) It shoots 8K resolution, which is insignificant or I would say unnecessary for the needs of most users.
3) It has a detachable cover for wind noise reduction.
4) You can press Pause while recording a video. Maybe the only thing I envy and the Osmo doesn't have.
5) You can apply image filter effects through the camera. Insignificant, but convenient for those who don't know or don't want to deal with video editing on a program either on the phone or PC.
6) It shoots slightly brighter videos at night than the Osmo 5.
The conclusions are yours. I think it depends on everyone's needs which camera suits them. But for me, both are top with a difference, it's just the price difference that makes the Ace pro 2 lose points.
If you get both in your hands, you'll understand that the Ace pro 2 is not worth its money when it has the Osmo against it.

ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η OSMO 5 - ΤΙ ΘΑ ΗΘΕΛΑ ΝΑ ΕΙΧΕ Η ACE PRO 2.
1) η Osmo εχει μπρος πίσω οθόνες oled και κάθε φορά που θες να βγάλεις μια γρήγορη σελφι φωτο δεν χρειάζεται να ανοιγοκλείνεις την αναδιπλούμενη πίσω οθόνη. Μάλιστα και από την μπροστινή τη μικρή, μπορείς να χειριστείς το μενού.
2) η osmo είναι πολύ πιο μικρή σε μέγεθος, και δείχνει ποιοτικότερη σε πλαστικά και κατασκευή, χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν είναι καλή. Απλά την νιώθεις πιο ελαφριά, πιο κούφια.
3) η μπαταρία της osmo είναι μεγαλύτερη. Kρατάει περισσότερες ώρες, φορτίζει γρήγορα, κάνει τη ζωή πιο εύκολη.
4) διαθέτει εσωτερική μνήμη 47gb, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό.
5) τραβάει 10bit χρώματα ενώ η Ace pro 2 σε 8Bit.
6) Πολύ Χαμηλότερο κόστος αγοράς από ότι η Ace Pro 2. Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατί είναι τόσο ακριβή κάμερα. Δεν δικαιολογεί σε καμία περίπτωση της διαφορά τιμής που έχει από την Osmo 5 pro η οποία είναι καλύτερη.
7) Καλύτερης αίσθησης κουμπί λήψεων, πατιεται εύκολα, ενώ στην Ace pro 2 θέλει δύναμη. Το αντίστροφο συμβαίνει με το κουμπί ενεργοποίησης της κάμερας.
ΠΟΥ ΥΠΕΡΤΕΡΕΙ Η ACE PRO 2
1) Η oθόνη της Ace pro 2 με το να αναδιπλώνει σε βοηθάει να τραβήξεις χαμηλά πλάνα χωρίς να σκύβεις το κεφάλι τέρμα κάτω ωστε για να δεις τι τραβάς.
2) Tραβάει 8Κ ανάλυση, πράγμα ασήμαντο βέβαια η θα έλεγα περιττό για τις ανάγκες των περισσότερων χρηστών.
3) Διαθέτει αποσπώμενο κάλυμα για μειωση θορύβου αέρα.
4) Μπορείς να πατήσεις Pause την ώρα που τραβάς ενα βιντεο. Ίσως το μόνο που ζηλεύω και δεν έχει η osmo.
5) Μπορείς να εφαρμόσεις μέσω της κάμερας εφέ φίλτρα εικόνας. Aσημαντο, αλλά βολικό για όσους δεν ξέρουν ή δεν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν με την επεξεργασία βίντεο σε πρόγραμμα είτε στο κινητό είτε στον Η/Υ.
6) Βγάζει λίγο πιο φωτεινά βίντεο τη νύχτα από ότι η Osmo 5.
Τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας. Νομίζω ότι εξαρτάται από τις ανάγκες του καθενός ποια κάμερα του ταιριάζει. Και οι δύο όμως για μένα ειναι οι κορυφαίες με διαφορά απλά η διαφορά στη τιμή είναι που κάνει την Ace pro 2 να χάνει πόντους.
Αν πέσουν στα χέρια σας και οι δύο θα καταλάβετε ότι η Ace pro 2 δεν αξίζει τα χρήματα της όταν απέναντι της έχει την Osmo.
Fantastic resolution, easy to use, fast, beautiful construction. It is worth it even as a photo camera beyond being an action camera. For its price, it is far above any other action camera from every perspective. Also, the insta360 app is equally user-friendly with many features, especially in editing, as it finds the perfect edit with the help of AI.
For a more complete experience, I would recommend the xplorer kit and a 512gb SD card.
Φανταστική ανάλυση, εύχρηστη, γρήγορη, όμορφη κατασκευή. Αξίζει κ σαν φωτογραφική κάμερα πέρα από κάμερα δράσης. Για τα λεφτά της είναι πολύ πιο πάνω από οποιαδήποτε κάμερα άλλη action camera από κάθε οπτική.. Επίσης η εφαρμογή της insta360 είναι εξίσου εύχρηστη με πάρα πολλές παροχές ειδικά στο θέμα του edit καθώς βρίσκει το τέλειο edit με τη βοήθεια του AI.
Για πιο ολοκληρωμένη εμπειρία θα πρότεινα το xplorer kit και μια SD card 512gb.
I bought it to replace the first-generation Insta360 Ace Pro, which left me very satisfied, and while the camera is improved compared to its predecessor, I ultimately had to get rid of it because Insta360's service is laughable and pitiful.
In terms of dimensions, it is exactly the same as the Ace Pro 1.
The external differences are mainly as follows:
1) The front microphone, where now there is an option for either a plastic waterproof protective cover for use in water or a windslayer that significantly reduces wind noise.
2) The screen, which is now slightly larger in size and offers much better resolution.
3) The lens protector, which is now removable and not glued on like in the Ace Pro 1. So if it gets damaged, you can replace it very easily.
However, here comes its first negative, since now there is a chance the camera will show condensation during use, and this is why the newer batches come with a small rubber ring that "seals" the gap between the camera body and the lens protector, but it comes off quite easily. Fortunately, the package includes a second one as a spare, but keep in mind that most Insta360 models have condensation issues.
In terms of image and sound quality, the differences compared to the Ace Pro are notable only in the following:
1) Wider field of view. The Ace Pro 2 records a wider field than the Ace Pro 1. This means you can capture a larger part of a landscape or the background behind you. I would say that in terms of field of view and fisheye effect, it is somewhere between DJI and GoPro.
2) Cleaner videos in low light. Videos in low light show less noise and more detail than the Ace Pro 1, which already had excellent performance in this area. However, the colors are excessively warmer and the lights look blurrier, with a "halo" around them.
3) The sound is clearer than the Ace Pro 1 and the external protector helps a lot, but I think it still has a long way to go to reach DJI quality.
4) It takes better photos and its zoom is much higher quality than the Ace Pro 1.
On the technical side, it has an improved sensor, which remains the same size as the Ace Pro 1, very good stabilization, longer battery life, and is easier to use as a dashcam.
Otherwise, we're talking about a camera with very good video performance up to 8K, although if you choose the highest resolution you will notice a lot of cropping.
These improvements, however, although noticeable compared to what we are used to from GoPro and DJI's annual models, do not make it a camera you absolutely must get. If you have the AcePro 1, it's better to wait for the 2025 model (Ace Pro 3?). I only wish I had listened to my own advice...
Overall, it was a model with quite a few manufacturing problems, the most important, as I mentioned above, being the fact that it showed condensation and required an external rubber ring around the lens.
Mine, however, had another equally serious problem: a crooked lens, resulting in the videos coming out quite skewed and I couldn't fix them either through Insta360's software or through DaVinci. I contacted the company and after 1 month of daily communication, with wetransfer being on fire since they kept asking me for videos in various settings to "verify" the problem, I was forced to argue with them and make them send me a ticket so I could send it in for inspection, but they threatened me that if they determined there was no problem, I would have to "compensate" them in order to get it back. So here arose a matter of trust and I decided to get rid of it. I should note here that I have had interactions with the customer service of both GoPro and DJI and the results were as follows:
1) GoPro Hero 10: the video had a barely noticeable shake on turns and after 1.5 years of use (GoPro gives a 1-year warranty), I sent a message to GoPro and said that it might have a problem with the gyroscope. Their response: within 2 hours, a return ticket and within 2 days a message with a tracking code for the refurbished replacement camera! They didn't hassle me for a month, didn't threaten me, nor did they wait for the camera to arrive. And all this while the camera was out of warranty because I had it for 1.5 years.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: the camera showed condensation and the gimbal behaved strangely if you turned it off and on without removing the wide-angle lens. Within 15 minutes, and just upon mentioning the condensation, they had sent the return ticket. I told them that Christmas was approaching and I needed it urgently for a trip and they promised to do everything they could so I could receive the new one as soon as possible. The camera arrived at their offices in about a week, they immediately sent me the tracking code and DHL delivered the replacement camera 1 day earlier than expected. When I opened the box, I found that it was not refurbished, but brand new, sealed, with all its accessories!
Will I choose an Insta360 camera again? Yes, because they serve me well in terms of features and I have already ordered the Go3S, but instead of letting it sit for 20 days before I use it properly for the first time, I will do very strict checks within the 14-day return window, so I can send it back as soon as I notice something, to save my money. Also, after my experience with their customer service, I will keep an eye on the newer GoPro and DJI models, mainly because they have better customer service.

Οι διαφορές εξωτερικά εντοπίζονται κυρίως στα εξής:
1) Στο μπροστινό μικρόφωνο, όπου πλέον υπάρχει η επιλογή είτε για ένα πλαστικό αδιαβροχοποιητικό προστατευτικό για τη χρήση της στο νερό είτε για ένα windslayer που ελαττώνει αρκετά τον θόρυβο από τον αέρα.
2) Στην οθόνη, που πλέον είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη σε διαστάσεις και προσφέρει πολύ καλύτερη ανάλυση.
3) Στο προστατευτικό του φακού, που πλέον είναι αποσπώμενο και όχι κολλημένο, όπως στην Ace Pro 1. Οπότε αν υποστεί φθορά, μπορείτε να το αντικαταστήσετε πολύ εύκολα.
Εδώ όμως έρχεται και το 1ο της αρνητικό, αφού πλέον υπάρχει περίπτωση η κάμερα να εμφανίσει συμπύκνωση κατά τη χρήση και αυτός είναι ο λόγος που οι νεότερες παρτίδες έρχονται με ένα λαστιχάκι που «σφραγίζει» το κενό ανάμεσα στο σώμα της κάμερας και το προστατευτικό του φακού, αλλά που όμως φεύγει αρκετά εύκολα. Ευτυχώς, το πακέτο έχει και 2ο ως ανταλλακτικό, αλλά να έχετε υπόψη ότι τα περισσότερα μοντέλα της Insta360 έχουν θέμα συμπύκνωσης.
Από άποψη ποιότητας εικόνας και ήχου, οι διαφορές σε σχέση με την Ace Pro είναι αξιοσημείωτες μόνο στα εξής:
1) Μεγαλύτερο εύρος ορίζοντα. Η Ace Pro 2 καταγράφει σε μεγαλύτερο εύρος απ' ότι η Ace Pro 1. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έχετε τη δυνατότητα να τραβήξετε μεγαλύτερο μέρος ενός τοπίου ή το φόντο πίσω σας. Θα έλεγα ότι από άποψη εύρους ορίζοντα και fisheye effect είναι κάπου ανάμεσα από τις DJI και τις GoPro.
2) Πιο καθαρά βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό. Τα βίντεο σε χαμηλό φωτισμό εμφανίζουν λιγότερο θόρυβο και περισσότερη λεπτομέρεια από της Ace Pro 1, η οποία είχε ήδη εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις σε αυτό τον τομέα. Ωστόσο, τα χρώματα είναι υπερβολικά πιο θερμά και τα φώτα φαίνονται πιο θαμπά, με ένα «στεφάνι» γύρω τους.
3) Ο ήχος της είναι πιο καθαρός από της Ace Pro 1 και το εξωτερικό προστατευτικό βοηθάει αρκετά, αλλά νομίζω ότι έχει ακόμα αρκετό δρόμο μέχρι να φτάσει σε ποιότητα τις DJI.
4) Βγάζει καλύτερες φωτογραφίες και το ζουμ της είναι πολύ ανώτερο ποιοτικά από της Ace Pro 1.
Στα τεχνικά, έχει βελτιωμένο αισθητήρα, που όμως παραμένει στις ίδιες διαστάσεις με της Ace Pro 1, πάρα πολύ καλή σταθεροποίηση, μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια μπαταρίας και είναι πιο εύκολο να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως dashcam.
Κατά τα άλλα, μιλάμε για μια κάμερα με πολύ καλές επιδόσεις σε βίντεο μέχρι 8Κ, παρόλο που αν επιλέξετε την υψηλότερη ανάλυση θα δείτε ότι έχει πολύ έντονο cropping.
Αυτές οι βελτιώσεις, ωστόσο, αν και ευδιάκριτες από αυτές που μας έχουν συνηθίσει στα ετήσια μοντέλα τους η GoPro και DJI, δεν την καθιστούν μια κάμερα που πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να αποκτήσετε. Αν έχετε την AcePro 1, καλύτερα να περιμένετε για το μοντέλο του 2025 (Ace Pro 3; ). Μακάρι μόνο να είχα ακούσει κι εγώ τη συμβουλή μου...
Γενικότερα, ήταν ένα μοντέλο με αρκετά κατασκευαστικά προβλήματα, με σημαντικότερο, όπως είπα και πιο πάνω, το γεγονός εμφάνιζε condensation και χρειάστηκε να προστεθεί ένα λαστιχάκι εξωτερικά γύρω από τον φακό.
Η δικιά μου, ωστόσο, είχε ένα άλλο, εξίσου σοβαρό πρόβλημα: στραβό φακό, με αποτέλεσμα τα βίντεο να βγαίνουν αρκετά στραβά και να μην μπορώ να τα σώσω ούτε μέσω του λογισμικού της Insta360, ούτε μέσω του DaVinci. Επικοινώνησα με την εταιρεία και έπειτα από 1 μήνα καθημερινής επικοινωνίας, με το wetransfer να έχει πάρει φωτιά αφού μου ζητούσαν συνέχεια βίντεο σε διάφορες ρυθμίσεις ώστε να «εξακριβώσουν» το πρόβλημα, αναγκάστηκα να τσακωθώ μαζί τους και να τους αναγκάσω να μου στείλουν ticket ώστε να τη στείλω για έλεγχο, αλλά με απείλησαν ότι αν έκριναν ότι δεν είχε πρόβλημα, θα έπρεπε να τους «αποζημιώσω» για να μου τη στείλουν πίσω. Οπότε εδώ προέκυψε ζήτημα εμπιστοσύνης και αποφάσισα να την ξεφορτωθώ. Να σημειώσω εδώ ότι είχα συναναστροφές με την εξυπηρέτηση πελατών και της GoPro και της DJI και τα αποτελέσματα ήταν τα εξής:
1) GoPro Hero 10: το βίντεο έκανε ένα ανεπαίσθητο τρέμουλο στις στροφές και έπειτα από 1,5 χρόνο χρήσης (η GoPro δίνει 1 χρόνο εγγύηση), έστειλα μήνυμα στη GoPro και είπα ότι πιθανώς να έχει πρόβλημα στο γυροσκόπιο. Η απάντησή τους: μέσα σε 2 ώρες, ticket για επιστροφή και μέσα σε 2 μέρες μήνυμα με tracking code για την refurbished κάμερα αντικατάστασης! Δεν με ζάλισαν 1 μήνα, δεν με απείλησαν, ούτε περίμεναν να φτάσει η κάμερα. Και όλα αυτά ενώ η κάμερα ήταν εκτός εγγύησης γιατί την είχα 1,5 χρόνο.
2) DJI Osmo Pocket 3: η κάμερα εμφάνιζε condensation και το gimbal συμπεριφέρονταν περίεργα αν το έκλεινες και το άνοιγες χωρίς να βγάλεις τον ευρυγώνιο φακό. Μέσα σε 15 λεπτά, και μόνο στην αναφορά του condensation, είχαν στείλει το ticket για επιστροφή. Τους είπα ότι πλησίαζαν Χριστούγεννα και τη χρειαζόμουν άμεσα για ένα ταξίδι και μου υποσχέθηκαν ότι θα έκαναν ό,τι μπορούσαν για να παραλάβω την καινούργια το συντομότερο δυνατό. Η κάμερα έφτασε στα γραφεία τους σε περίπου 1 εβδομάδα, μου έστειλαν αμέσως το tracking code και η DHL έφερε την κάμερα αντικατάστασης 1 μέρα νωρίτερα από το προβλεπόμενο. Όταν άνοιξα το κουτί, διαπίστωσα ότι δεν ήταν refurbished, αλλά μια ολοκαίνουργια, σφραγισμένη, με όλα της τα αξεσουάρ!
Αν θα επιλέξω ξανά κάμερα της Insta360; Ναι, γιατί με εξυπηρετούν πολύ από άποψη δυνατοτήτων και έχω ήδη παραγγείλει τη Go3S, αλλά αντί να την αφήσω να κάτσει 20 μέρες μέχρι να τη χρησιμοποιήσω κανονικά την πρώτη φορά, θα κάνω πολύ αυστηρούς ελέγχους μέσα στο 14ήμερο παράθυρο επιστροφών, ώστε να τη στείλω πίσω με το που θα παρατηρήσω κάτι, ώστε να σώσω τα χρήματά μου. Επίσης, έπειτα από την εμπειρία μου με το customer service τους, θα έχω τον νου μου και στις νεότερες GoPro και DJI, κυρίως γιατί έχουν καλύτερο customer service.
i dont recommend this brand at all since repairs are only in germany
you will need to spend time money to send the device to germany
its very clumsy and you riisk your camera to be lost in the way
so i would have not bought it if somebody would have told me that.
better to buy some brand with local lab services in greece
