The threaded inserts (CNC-milled) made from high-quality brass alloy are practical accessories that can be used to convert 3D printed plastic parts (from PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) into functional and versatile components.
The cadmium and lead-free threaded inserts are inserted or melted into place using a soldering iron. They increase the strength of the connection by bonding the threaded insert with the material and remain securely in position.
For maximum connection strength, it is recommended to install brass inserts at a temperature 10-20°C higher than the printing temperature.
Advantages at a glance:
- Suitable for all thermoplastics
- Suitable for SLA resin as well (note: the inserts are glued in this case!)
- Cadmium-free and lead-free
- REACH and RoHS compliant
- Durable and sturdy
- Creates strong bonds
