420D nylon with durable ripstop stitching, it is highly resistant to mechanical damages, while its waterproof coating of
1500 mm protects the interior from light rain.
The Ortovox Peak Light 40 - dark pacific offers many functional features. It uses the Swisswool Hybrid Back System with three soft Swisswool wool inserts that absorb moisture from the skin. Additionally, it features ergonomic shoulder straps, a chest strap with an audible whistle, and a front strap with a pocket and gear loop. The classic carrying system ensures an excellent fit on the body.
For weight reduction, it is possible to disassemble the top lid, remove the waist belt and the reinforced back panel, reducing the weight by approximately 30%. The backpack provides wide access to the main compartment from above and the front, facilitating easy retrieval of items. It has special loops for attaching ice axes or trekking poles. It also offers convenience for carrying ropes and skis, which can be attached in two different ways. Comes with an external helmet carry net.
The design of the Ortovox 40 backpack is compatible with hydration systems, allowing necessary fluid refills during activity.
