When my daughter was little, she was very afraid of storms. So I decided that one day I would explain to her why it rains, how lightning appears, whether it is possible to protect yourself from it, and where the rainbow comes from. I wanted her to understand the phenomena that occur in nature and to stop being afraid of them.

Today I can proudly say that Ania happily runs through puddles, and moreover – she is no longer afraid of storms. Here is a book from which you will learn everything not only about rain but also about weather forecasting, rubber boots, and car wipers!

Monika Utnik-Strugała – graduate of Polish and Italian Studies at the University of Warsaw, journalist, long-time editor of interior design magazines. She made her debut with the children's book "Mamma mia. Italy for the curious." She likes Italian design and Tressento painting. What she appreciates most about the people of Italy is their love of life. She spends her free time at her favorite country house.

Małgosia Piątkowska – illustrator. She currently lives in Bristol, United Kingdom. She graduated from the School of Illustration at the University of the West of England (Bristol). She loves her work because it allows her to share the way she perceives the world. Her greatest inspiration is childhood and the surrealism associated with it. A compulsive drawer. She uses traditional techniques but is also enthusiastic about graphic programs.
