I use it as a mount for an iPhone 17 Pro and it does its job well, holding the phone steadily in place even though it is not particularly light. From time to time I need to tighten the mount again onto the vents because over time it loses its stability, but I haven't had to do this more than twice in the months I've had it, so it's not a big problem.

Excellent build quality and even better support. Very easy to install on the air conditioner's vents. With the 17Pro Max, which, to be fair, is like a small brick, it remains absolutely stable without vibrations thanks to a very strong magnet. I have bought 3 and ordered 2 more. It also has an option for dashboard support but on textured surfaces it won't stick. I tried it on the T-ROC and it only stuck to smooth, glossy surfaces.
In the end, I chose the base with the hook for the air vent and it is very good. It doesn't move at all, of course I put it on the lower grille of the air vent. Just when you tighten it, the air vent can't go up and down anymore, only left and right. Either way, the air from the a/c hits the phone so it doesn't heat up in the hot weather.
