    I had an older similar model. I see a big improvement in the internal screen and I hope it lasts with the 'open and close'... because in the past I had problems from the very beginning. Just the fact that they made the external screen bigger, which is amazing and you can do almost everything from there, means you won't need to open and close the phone... Very light and very thin. It fits comfortably in the pocket of my pants.

    I have very mixed feelings about this device. I used to have the Z Flip3 and I liked it, but I sold it because of the very bad battery. It couldn't last a whole day at all.

    I read that the Z Flip7 has a decent battery and decided to get it. Four generations later I expected a big difference. Unfortunately, no. The battery is bad. Not terrible, but bad. If you are near a charger all day, OK. But if you go on a trip and only charge at night, you can't get through the day without a powerbank, especially with video or photos. Very disappointing!!

    Hardware-wise it's generally OK, but it's difficult to hold. It's tall and very wide, especially with a case. I was forced to use a case with a ring, otherwise it would fall out of my hand.

    But the biggest problem is the software. Samsung has made notification management unnecessarily complicated. For simple things you have to search for hidden and advanced settings, while notifications that are supposed to be fixed can be swiped away, risking closing a process you don't want. It wasn't like this before.

    The cover screen is the most annoying part. Only Samsung widgets, limited app support (unless you download Samsung's Good Lock from the Galaxy Store or APKmirror), and the worst: only the first screen is visible without unlocking. If you swipe to the second, it asks for a fingerprint. This defeats its usefulness! Not everything fits on the first screen, so something inevitably stays locked. If you wear gloves, you can only see the first screen.

    And as if that wasn't enough, the weather widget doesn't update properly. It may show data from days ago unless you open the phone and the app. And since third-party widgets aren't allowed, there's no solution!

    Finally, notifications on the cover screen often don't appear at all until you use your fingerprint. You think you have nothing and as soon as you unlock, messages and missed calls appear. I've searched everywhere and there's no way to change this. Unacceptable.

    In short, I'm seriously thinking of selling it. And the most annoying thing is that the main reason isn't the hardware, but the software and specifically how the cover screen has been implemented.

      Very nice mobile phone.
      It has worthily replaced the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3.
      I think it's worth it, especially if purchased with VAT exemption with an invoice.

    I had an older similar model. I see a big improvement in the internal screen and I hope it lasts with the 'open and close'... because in the past I had problems from the very beginning. Just the fact that they made the external screen bigger, which is amazing and you can do almost everything from there, means you won't need to open and close the phone... Very light and very thin. It fits comfortably in the pocket of my pants.

    I have very mixed feelings about this device. I used to have the Z Flip3 and I liked it, but I sold it because of the very bad battery. It couldn't last a whole day at all.

    I read that the Z Flip7 has a decent battery and decided to get it. Four generations later I expected a big difference. Unfortunately, no. The battery is bad. Not terrible, but bad. If you are near a charger all day, OK. But if you go on a trip and only charge at night, you can't get through the day without a powerbank, especially with video or photos. Very disappointing!!

    Hardware-wise it's generally OK, but it's difficult to hold. It's tall and very wide, especially with a case. I was forced to use a case with a ring, otherwise it would fall out of my hand.

    But the biggest problem is the software. Samsung has made notification management unnecessarily complicated. For simple things you have to search for hidden and advanced settings, while notifications that are supposed to be fixed can be swiped away, risking closing a process you don't want. It wasn't like this before.

    The cover screen is the most annoying part. Only Samsung widgets, limited app support (unless you download Samsung's Good Lock from the Galaxy Store or APKmirror), and the worst: only the first screen is visible without unlocking. If you swipe to the second, it asks for a fingerprint. This defeats its usefulness! Not everything fits on the first screen, so something inevitably stays locked. If you wear gloves, you can only see the first screen.

    And as if that wasn't enough, the weather widget doesn't update properly. It may show data from days ago unless you open the phone and the app. And since third-party widgets aren't allowed, there's no solution!

    Finally, notifications on the cover screen often don't appear at all until you use your fingerprint. You think you have nothing and as soon as you unlock, messages and missed calls appear. I've searched everywhere and there's no way to change this. Unacceptable.

    In short, I'm seriously thinking of selling it. And the most annoying thing is that the main reason isn't the hardware, but the software and specifically how the cover screen has been implemented.

      Very nice mobile phone.
      It has worthily replaced the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3.
      I think it's worth it, especially if purchased with VAT exemption with an invoice.

      So far I am very satisfied with the phone! It is extremely fast and you can do almost everything from the external screen, while it also takes perfect selfies. I don't play particularly demanding games, but whatever I do, it executes immediately. The cameras and the chipset do not reach the level of the S25, but here you are paying for the flip technology and, if this is something you like and find convenient, then it is worth its price. The battery, with normal use, barely lasts a day. Additionally, it has very powerful AI features that make the experience even better.
