I have a white op1 8k and bought the v2 in black, only thing i noticed is that fingerprints show more in the black one but the white can get visibly more dirty. The cable seems softer on my old one but neither cable is bad. Performance is the same. Durable, good quality construction, lightweight, great shape, good clicks, wired so no worries about battery life. A mouse bungee is recommended.
