The Sky Lanterns are marvels of Cathayan ingenuity used by the armies of the Celestial Dragon to observe enemies from above and direct troops in battle. Hanging beneath the lantern is an armored gondola, from which one of the many Magistrates of Grand Cathay uses fans and banners to signal the troops or direct the fire of the army's war machines.

The miniature requires assembly and is supplied unpainted; Citadel plastic glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
