RespoSorb® Silicone Border is a highly absorbent wound dressing made of SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) material, for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds with moderate to high exudate.
It absorbs exudate containing bacteria and proteases and locks it in the absorbent core. A moist wound environment is maintained.
It is equipped with a silicone wound contact layer that allows painless dressing changes. Thanks to the reliable silicone adhesive edge, no additional fixation is required.
It is waterproof and protects against secondary infections with bacteria and viruses.
Use: For the treatment of highly exudative wounds in all areas of medicine, especially, for example, in surgical wounds, lymph-dependent wounds, lower limb ulcers, ulcerative tumors. They are also indicated as wound dressings under compression bandages.
