Panic

The panic bar is installed on doors, usually fire doors, to allow easy and immediate exit from the space in case of emergency. It operates with a mechanism that is activated by pushing, instead of pulling, as is the case with traditional doorknobs. The panic bar can be single or double, depending on the type of door.
