Cretacolor charcoal powder. It combines with other powdered pigment shades such as sanguine, sepia, and graphite. It can be used dry directly on the surface of the artwork or mixed with water. Ideal for quick and thick strokes, it covers a large area. Suitable for shading and tonal gradations, combined with charcoal erasers it delivers details in the artwork. By adding water, a watercolor effect is achieved. It can also be dissolved in binders such as gum arabic, creating different effects. By adding more pigment powder, the strokes become more intense. It is recommended to fix the pigments with charcoal or pastel spray. Available in a 150-gram package.
