It stores the last 10 measurements and features an LCD backlight for easier reading in the dark.

Use the body/object switch to select body or ambient temperature measurement. The unit can be set to degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the fever alert threshold and audible alert can be adjusted. The device switches off automatically after approximately 15 seconds.
