Col di Sasso means "rocky hill" and comes from the vineyards of the southern part of Tuscany. The wine is the result of blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes.
This exceptionally versatile wine features:
- Bright ruby color
- Intense aromas of ripe fruits, such as plum, blueberry, and black cherry
- Smooth taste with soft tannins
- Long aftertaste of black fruits
The winemaking process includes soaking the grapes for 6-8 days at low temperatures, preserving the fresh aromatic intensity without overloading the tannin structure. It ages in tanks for a short period before bottling.
