Description

Valpolicella "Costa Rossa" is a multi-award-winning estate wine, produced from Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes. The harvest is done by hand and undergoes the double fermentation "ripasso" technique using dried Amarone grapes. On the nose, it has a dense core of black cherry and plum, with notes of spices, black pepper, herbs, and tobacco. Fleshy on the palate, it features subtle mineral elements, velvety tannins, and expressive aromas of berries, aronia, and black cherries, followed by notes of bitter chocolate and warm kirsch liqueur. The finish is long and complex.

Valpolicella "Costa Rossa" is suitable for exceptionally long aging and it is recommended to decant for at least 30 minutes before consumption.
