The threaded inserts (CNC-milled) made from high-quality brass alloy are practical accessories that can be used to convert 3D printed plastic parts (from PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) into practical and versatile components.
The cadmium-free and lead-free threaded inserts are either inserted or melted in place with a soldering iron. They enhance the strength of the connection formed by bonding the threaded insert with the material and staying securely in place.
Tip: For maximum connection strength, place the brass inserts at a temperature 10-20°C higher than the printing temperature. It is recommended that only 90% of the threaded inserts should be melted with a soldering iron - the rest can be placed in the component with a tool.
