Review this product
  • I gave it 3 stars because the adapters they gave me for the 3/8 tube are just TERRIBLE.
When I tried to fit the tube I bought, it wouldn't snap all the way in, resulting in water leaking everywhere.
Another HUGE minus... IT IS NOT WATERPROOF, it needs to be kept away from the sink or is ideal for use with a filter under the sink.
The adapters shown in the picture, the screw-in ones shown here, have nothing to do with the ones given to me by the only shop in N. Filadelfeia that sells it.
So far I have tried to find other adapters without success.
The tube needs to go deep inside and not come out when pulled, but this does not guarantee that the rubber o-ring inside will grip well enough to prevent leaks.
I am trying to find a good tube so I don't damage my OLYMPUS filter, I bought one from LEROY that seems to fit but still looks smaller.
My last resort is to buy a tube from the shop where I bought it, hoping it will fit better. 1000 times better if the adapters were screw-in and not pressed.
If you want it for home use, it's not worth it, since if your filter lasts for 8000 liters and you use 10 liters a day, that's 300 a month, 3600 a year, meaning you change it every 3 years. If you want it for another use so you don't forget when to change it, make sure it's not in water and your tube fits well.
    UPDATE 2/6/2026
I'm giving it one more star, total 4.
Fortunately, the OLYMPUS filter tube, the ALFA GOMMA, was the right thickness. I wedged them into the adapters until they reached the rubber rings and in the test I did, there were no leaks.
It's good to put a little Teflon before screwing the adapters onto the device, and it's also good to first screw the adapters together with the tubes, one on the left and one on the right, and then put them on the tap and filter so the tubes don't twist during screwing and come loose from the adapters.
I put it near the sink but covered it with cling film because if water falls from above, the batteries are there and there is no rubber for waterproofing, so the water will go straight in and short-circuit it.
It also has a Velcro sticker, but it didn't stick long on my tile, so I finally glued it with silicone and now it's fine.
It needs a smooth and clean tile, on my rough tile it came off after 2 days.
