    First of all, it is noisy; even on the first setting it produces a strong airflow and makes noise, so in practice you can't use it to blow gently and sleep.
    It has a completely awkward control system, with both the speeds and the oscillation on one button, so if you have it on 1 constantly to make it oscillate, there is no other button; you have to turn the same one to 2, 3, the empty position, and then back to 1 for oscillation.
    Other fans have a separate button that, when you press it, makes them oscillate without such hassle.
