Composition of the Romed I.V. Dressing:
- Layer 1: cover paper, 55g/m2
- Layer 2: viscose fibers, 160g/m2 + insulating membrane
- Layer 3: non-woven fiber, 50g/m2, with pressure-sensitive solvent adhesive
Instructions for use:
- Apply to clean, dry skin.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Sterile unless the package is opened.

- The patient sits comfortably and keeps their hand extended, guided by the experienced nurse.
- Proper preparation of the patient by the staff leads to better outcomes.
- The nurse applies a pressure bandage and selects the appropriate vein by palpation.
- After the catheter is inserted, the sharp part is removed and the venous catheter is stabilized with the I.V. DRESSING.
