The adhesive gauze pads consist of a transparent, elastic polyurethane membrane and are fitted with hypoallergenic polyacrylic adhesive.
The contact layer with the wound, which does not stick to the wound, is surrounded on all sides by the membrane. The membrane protects the wound from the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms. It is waterproof, yet permeable to vapors. Therefore, the patient can manage their daily body care without soaking the dressing.
The transparent membrane allows for the assessment of the moisture condition of the contact layer with the wound without removing the dressing. The pads are individually packaged in sterile packaging.
