Lawn Mix for Dry and Warm Areas

Seed quantity: 45 gr /square meter.

Ideal mix for dry and warm areas. It can be used in parks, private gardens, as well as hotels. It does not tolerate continuous shade very well. It keeps its green color all year round.

Very resistant both to heavy use (continuous foot traffic) and to limited watering. It does not require much fertilization. Very resistant during hot periods.

The mix contains:

• 15% FESTUCA RUBRA RUBRA
• 60% FESTUCA ARUNDINACEA
• 20% LOLIUM PERENNE
• 5% POA PRATENSIS

Useful tips for lawn installation:

• The lawn is a basic part of most gardens. All lawns require soil with very good drainage and aeration.
• Remove any existing weeds from the area where the new lawn will be installed, using a herbicide.
• Add balanced fertilizer with trace elements (40 gr/sq.m) and sand if the soil is very heavy.
• Install the irrigation system, level the soil with a rake, and water.
• Let the soil dry for two days before sowing the lawn.
• Sow the appropriate seed depending on the season, mixing it with sand. Go over with a rake to lightly cover it.
• After sowing, water for 10 minutes every 12 hours for one week, making sure the soil stays sufficiently moist.
• Start reducing watering when the grass begins to grow.
• The application of a fungicide once a month is necessary as a preventive measure.
