In the concentration camps, boxing matches were held for the entertainment of the Nazis, who wanted the defeated boxer to be taken to the gas chambers. In an effort to prove their superiority, the Aryans organized uneven matches with bulky and muscled German officers against boxers of smaller physical stature.
The author Mi Delta meets the illustrator Poti Keimali in a story examining the psychology of boxers, who constantly walked a tightrope between survival and indirect murder – often including their fellow inmates. A short story – a statement so that the "Invisible Holocaust," as the extermination of the Roma has come to be known, is not forgotten.
Within this historical context lives and struggles the protagonist of the book, Jonathan Trollman. His fights, both in the ring and in life, gain even greater significance. This short story is based on historical events and is an effort for all those who love the so-called "combat sports" to remain on the right side of history, learning respect for diversity.
It is a deeply silent bow to all those who were swallowed by the belly of the beast.
