Isabelle Ory has developed a program for understanding and mastering the technique of the double and triple tongue - a technique necessary for performing the repertoire of the instrument. The musical texts included in this volume serve as support or a pretext for working on various aspects of the technique. The double and triple tongue technique should be taught as soon as the student realizes that the simple tongue T T is no longer fast enough to match the speed of the fingers and the demands of the tempo - typically at the end of the 1st cycle or at the beginning of the 2nd. The method is also suitable for more advanced flutists who wish to improve. It is structured into 5 sections and has been designed for study in chronological order, following the development of the contents.
