I wouldn't have become a librarian if I didn't love stories, but I was never particularly good at telling my own. If I got a dime every time I interrupted one of my stories wondering whether it really happened on a Tuesday or if it was actually a Thursday, I would have at least forty dimes—a very small amount for such a large part of my life lost.
