How to properly perform a semi-permanent manicure?

• Before starting the process, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client's hands with a disinfectant solution and prepare the workspace accordingly.
• Use a file with the appropriate grit to shape the nails, gently buffing the nails with a buffer block, and if necessary, work on the cuticles.
• Wipe the nails with a cotton pad soaked in cleaner. A primer can also be used.
• Apply a thin layer of semi-permanent base and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
• On the cured base, apply the semi-permanent polish in the chosen shade and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp. This step can be repeated for a more intense color.
