Review this product
  • I did market research for over 2 months, watching quite a few videos and reading reviews before settling on this one. It replaced the 70Mai Pro Plus, which stopped working after 1.5 years, and I wanted to get something better in terms of video resolution and night recording. The differences in quality and resolution are huge!!
I’m listing the pros and cons so far for anyone who wants to get it, along with photos taken day and night, and I’ll also provide updates over time

    PROS
-True 4K resolution!! It has the advanced Sony STARVIS 2 sensor and ensures exceptionally clear footage during the day AND at night!!
-It comes with a polarized filter
-It features a special contrast mode (PlatePix) that reduces motion blur and reflections, allowing license plates to be read easily, even from a distance
-It’s extremely small, so it’s easy to hide behind the rear-view mirror without obstructing the driver’s view
-Magnetic mount that makes it very easy and quick to remove or install the camera
-Transferring files to your phone through the app is very fast thanks to the 5GHz band, while speed and location are recorded accurately

    CONS
-It gets very hot!! The camera overheats while operating!!
-Although the capacitor protects it, the heat can put strain on cheap memory cards, and based on other reviews I’ve seen on YouTube, a high-end/high-endurance card is recommended
-Small, awkward buttons underneath the camera
-The menu may seem slightly awkward to use, but once you get used to it over time, it won’t be difficult; I prefer using the mobile app for settings
-Sensitive sensor that, in the event of hitting a pothole, makes the camera think there has been a collision and locks the video as “important”
