Description

Description

The PRO ARC inverter series is intended for purely professional use.

It is suitable for welding with electrode (MMA) or TIG tongs.

It has Hot Start, Arc Force and Anti Stick functions.

Hot-Start ignition (adds electrical power - current - for a smooth start of welding)

Anti-Stick (stops the welding current if the electrode "sticks" to the material)

Arc-Force (ensures homogeneous welding even when the distance between electrode and surface is not constant). They can also be used with a generator. Welding with cellulose, rutile, basic and inox electrodes.

Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / TIG from the manufacturer Imperia, where the inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. While the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It can operate continuously for 3.5 minutes at 180A before needing to stop to cool down. Therefore, you may need more time to melt thicker wires and make more passes on thick welds due to the low maximum Amps it supports. Its weight reaches 5kg.

It sticks on its own, what can I say now, and even though I am clueless, it handles sticky situations very well. It does all the work on its own, no comparison to the old type I used to work with, it's like day and night.. impressive difference and truly economical for its price. Here where I live, it costs around 280€+++. I bought it after a recommendation from a professional ironer and I am very satisfied

I bought the 181 for amateur use knowing the 161.
I have been using the 161 professionally for at least 7 years and it is an incredible tool. So I chose the 181 because I wanted it to be a little more powerful, with the intention of making welds with a 4mm basic electrode.
It sticks incredibly well with stainless steel electrodes (I have worked with 2.5mm up to 309).
Overall, if you learn how to handle it, you can make very nice welds!

I have been using it as a hobby for about three months and it is an amazing tool. I had an old AC from my father that I was learning on, but due to its size, I decided to get an inverter. It was recommended to me by a friend who has the imperia 160A. It is very easy to use and very accurate in its currents. I highly recommend it even for beginners. A great advantage is the option it has for scratch tig, with just a bottle and a tig clamp, you can start tig welding in the future.

A little more expensive than the others but incredibly easy, it doesn't stick to you, it helps you for a new combination of gloves and mask of the same brand, with the large glass it is the best thing and not economy, you buy it once.
