Description

Description

The PRO ARC inverter series is intended for purely professional use.

It is suitable for welding with electrode (MMA) or TIG tongs.

It has Hot Start, Arc Force and Anti Stick functions.

Hot-Start ignition (adds electrical power - current - for a smooth start of welding)

Anti-Stick (stops the welding current if the electrode "sticks" to the material)

Arc-Force (ensures homogeneous welding even when the distance between electrode and surface is not constant). They can also be used with a generator. Welding with cellulose, rutile, basic and inox electrodes.

Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / TIG from the manufacturer Imperia, where inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. While the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It can operate continuously for 3.5 minutes at 160A before needing to stop to cool down. Therefore, you may need more time to melt thicker wires and make more passes on thick welds due to the low maximum Amps it supports. Its weight reaches 4.7kg.

  • I had bought a Helix S-Mini maximum 160A. 80€..... for about a year I did some occasional welding and thought it was very good.... at some point it fell from a height of 10 centimeters!!! Flames shot out from behind the fan and that was the end of welding!!
I decided to get something a bit more quality than that one and closer to a semi-professional build... the company that imports them says it's for professional use... today I tried it for the first time and I saw the light!!! As a complete beginner in welding, I can say that half my welds looked professional!! Almost zero electrode sticking and honestly, I thought I had never welded before!! Today I understood the difference they talk about regarding the arc and if it's quality welding.... I thought I could weld anything and even like a professional!! I don't know about durability yet, but compared to my previous welder and two others of that level that I tried, it's like night and day.... its construction shows that it's truly for professional use, very easy to use and with a very quality result.... that's all and I hope I don't jinx it and that it lasts for years.... also, its cables were very long, three meters if I'm not mistaken, which for me was more than enough!!

I am an amateur and this machine taught me how to stick things together. It is an awesome machine, very powerful, and it can handle any kind of sticking you want

Unreservedly... Even the inexperienced can handle it... On the first day I got it, I welded on a 1mm common steel sheet. It starts easily, the electrode doesn't stick, very lightweight, and very good quality. I haven't tried it with a 4mm electrode yet to see how it performs, but it's worth every penny. One of my best purchases.
Now I'm thinking of getting the Imperia 180 MIG for even better and easier work
