Bladestorm: Nightmare is a strategy game set during the Hundred Years' War between England and France (1337 - 1453 AD) and allows you to take on the role of a mercenary to fight for the faction of your choice, in battles inspired by real events of the era.

Command different military units such as:

• archers
• spearmen
• cavalry

or some combination of these, while creating your own unique character, increasing your fame and fortune, and completing missions without belonging to any faction.

The new Nightmare mode allows you to play new fantastical scenarios with battles against mythical creatures. While the war rages between the two countries, an army of mythical creatures appears under the command of an evil Joan of Arc. England and France cease hostilities and unite against the common enemy.

Choose from 32 additional characters, defeat hordes of dragons, giants, and demons, and restore Joan of Arc to her true self to save the world.
