Let's start with the fact that it's not a towel?
You might say, you paid three and a half euros, don't complain. No complaining, it's just not a towel. A piece of fabric, like a dishcloth, with a nice, let's say, design. You can't call it useless; you lay it down and, for example, you don't dirty your regular towel. Or you make it into a turban if it's very windy.
Anyway, you can't call it a towel.

I give 4 stars because they are exactly what I bought them for, to put down on the sand this is not a towel, it serves as a beach mat. It is not absorbent at all but works great as a mat on the sand, a lounger etc because it is long.
