▫️A few words about the book: "Saving 6 - Removal" is the 3rd book in the Boys of Tommen series that tells us the story of the characters Joey, Shannon's brother, and Aoife, his girlfriend. The story starts chronologically before Darren's brother leaves the family, so you understand that we also see, to some extent, how Shannon grew up.
▪️Book style/writing: I won't lie, I have loved the author's writing! She builds the characters slowly, as in the first two books, with intense emotional dialogues and realistic scenes. But don't worry, it won't tire you because of its length; on the contrary, it will make you look forward to the next one.
▫️Why I loved it: After finishing the first two books, I didn't expect to get so attached again to the other characters! But that was a big mistake, as Joey's story is even more shocking and will definitely leave you speechless! And Aoife's support in his life will truly move you!
▪️Why you should read it: If you've already loved the Boys of Tommen series from the first two books, you really have no reason not to continue the story! You will learn even more facts about the family, while you will also start to get into the mood of what was happening at the same time with the other characters in the group.

The heartbreaking story of two kids, 16 and 17 years old, whose lives couldn't be more different. This is the second and final book (I hope not) in their love story where everything falls apart, chaos ensues, and then healing finally begins.

Shannon. Everything in her life has become like a hurricane after the first book. School, family issues, her need for love, and her own love story with Johnny. This is the only thing that matters and helps her get through the everyday life.

Johnny. His career along with everything he has worked so hard for over the years is in great danger. With his injury, the academy watching his every move, and the events happening in Shannon's life, he must find the strength to overcome it all.

The second part of the duology literally broke my heart. I cried maybe 70% of the book, and this story is now forever written in my heart. Especially that scene with Shannon and her siblings literally shattered me. I will never understand how these things happen to so many kids. I hope everyone reads this duology from the perspective of finding what truly matters in our lives and that these things are real for so many families. Although the second book was a bit long for my taste, I understand why. Please read this, it will be worth your time, I promise!
