Gershwin's Concerto in F is a work commissioned by Walter Damrosch in the spring of 1925. Gershwin began writing the score for two pianos in July, initially titling the drafts "New York Concerto." Its first performance took place in December 1925, with Gershwin on piano and Mr. Damrosch conducting the New York Symphony Orchestra. This is the 1927 score for two pianos, technically advanced in difficulty level. Two copies are required for performance.
