I had no previous experience with tillers. However, this particular one and for the specific job I wanted it for (garden/vegetable patch of about 30 sqm) made things so much easier for me and more. It is light enough so you can lift and handle it, even sideways, to make perfect furrows. In twenty (20) minutes I was done and didn’t even break a sweat. All these years with the hoe, my whole body would ache the next day (being a city kid after all). Highly recommended!

Ok. For limited small spaces it is a good solution. It grinds the soil, turns it into a paste.
However:
1) You can't handle it like a petrol-powered tiller.
The handling (to get results) is backwards. You pull it towards you during tilling.
2) In a moment of carelessness, you might cut the power cord.

Όμως:
1)Δεν μπορείς να τη χειριστής όπως τη βενζινοκίνητη φρέζα .
Ο χειρισμός της (για να έχεις αποτέλεσμα) είναι προς τα πίσω. Την τραβάς προς το μέρος σου κατά την άροση.
2)Μπορεί σε μια στιγμή απροσεξίας να κόψεις το καλώδιο ρευματοδότησης.

I used it for about 35 square meters. It did a good weeding job first. I had read some comments and applied them, and they were right. One was to take a short break every 10 minutes of using the tiller (mine were every 2-3 minutes for the break time) and the second was, when tilling, to move forward and when you reach the straight line you want, instead of turning around and going over the same spot again, you pull it back in the same direction. This way it is easier and digs deeper than 20 centimeters and... if you persist in the same spot. Another important thing is, when you activate it and it starts to dig, it has a specific sound - noise of operation. WHEN you hear that the sound changes, as if it is struggling, check proactively if the soil or any weeds are hindering its movement, removing them. This way it will work smoothly and safely, without straining and possibly damaging the motor. I passed over the area horizontally and vertically 2 times, and the ground, it turned to dust (figuratively). The time for the 35 square meters with the breaks, the cleaning, was about half an hour... effortlessly, not even my armpits sweated. It is worth it as a tool, with the appropriate care it is perfect.

Ένα ήταν να κάνεις ένα μικρό διάλειμμα ανά 10λεπτο χρήσης του σκαπτικού ( τα δικά μου ήταν ανά 2 ,3 λεπτά ο χρόνος του διαλείμματος ) και το δεύτερο ήταν , όταν φρεζάρεις προχωράει εμπρός και όταν κάνεις την ευθεία που θέλεις αντί να γυρίσεις και να ξαναπεράσεις από το ίδιο σημείο , το τραβάς προς τα πίσω προς την ίδια κατεύθυνση. Έτσι είναι ποιο εύκολο και σκάβει ποιο βαθιά από 20 εκατοστά και ... αν επιμένεις στο ίδιο σημείο.Ένα άλλο σημαντικό είναι ,όταν το ενεργοποιήσεις και ξεκινήσει να σκάβει έχει τον συγκεκριμένο ήχο- θόρυβο λειτουργίας του.ΟΤΑΝ ακούς ότι αλλάζει ο ήχος , σαν να ζορίζεται , κοίτα προληπτικά αν τυχόν το χώμα ή τυχόν χοτάρια δυσκολεύουν την κίνηση του, απομακρύνοντας τα. Έτσι θα δουλεύει απρόσκοπα και ασφαλές ,να μην ζοριστεί και τυχόν πάθει ζημιά το μοτέρ του.Εγώ πέρασα την έκταση οριζοντίος και καθέτος από 2 φορές , και έδαφος , το έκανε σκόνη ( μεταφορικά ). Ο χρόνος για τα 35 τετραγωνικά με τα διαλείμματα , τον καθαρισμό , περίπου μισή ώρα..... ξεκούραστα ,ούτε οι μασχάλες ίδρωσαν. Αξίζει σαν εργαλείο με την ανάλογη προσοχή είναι τέλειο.

Πολυ καλο για τα λεφτα του, μονο τον κοπο που μου γλύτωσε αξιζει, εαν δεν έχει δουλευτεί το χωμα παρα πολλα χρονια θελει να το πας λιγο λοξα αριστερά δεξια, και με πετρουλες δεν χαμπαριάζει. Πολυ τιμια αγορα μεχρι τωρα ολα καλα, θα επανέλθω εάν αλλαξει κατι.
I don't have experience with other tillers, but for amateur use and for small surfaces each time (~5 sqm per use), I consider it excellent. On hard, clayey ground full of stones, it works very satisfactorily. The soil becomes powdery and the small stones come to the surface. I have to stop it and remove the larger stones by hand as it starts to bounce uncontrollably. After 3-4 minutes of continuous operation in the soil, it raises a high temperature without affecting its performance.
Δεν έχω εμπειρία από άλλες φρέζες αλλά για ερασιτεχνική χρήση και για μικρές κάθε φορά επιφάνειες (~5 τμ ανά χρήση) το θεωρώ εξαιρετικό.
Σε σκληρό, αργιλώδες έδαφος γεμάτο πέτρες, δουλεύει πολύ ικανοποιητικά. Το χώμα γίνεται πούδρα και οι μικρές πέτρες έρχονται στην επιφάνεια. Τις μεγαλύτερες πέτρες πρέπει να το σταματώ και να τις απομακρύνω με το χέρι καθώς αρχίζει και χοροπηδάει ανεξέλεγκτα.
Στα 3-4 λεπτά συνεχόμενης λειτουργίας μέσα στο χώμα ανεβάζει υψηλή θερμοκρασία χωρίς να επηρεάζει τη λειτουργία του.

It is light enough so you can lift and handle it, even sideways, to make perfect furrows. In twenty (20) minutes I was done and didn’t even break a sweat. All these years with the hoe, my whole body would ache the next day (being a city kid after all). Highly recommended!
As with any electric tool with a cord – an extension cord requires attention and alertness.
Δεν είχα προηγούμενη εμπειρία από σκαφτικά. Πλην όμως το συγκεκριμένο και για τη συγκεκριμένη εργασία που το ήθελα (κήπος/μποστανάκι 30τμ περίπου) μου έλυσε τα χέρια κι όχι μόνο. Ελαφρύ τόσο όσο ώστε να μπορείς να το σηκώνεις και να το χειρίζεσαι και πλάγια για να σου φτιάχνει και τα τέλεια αυλάκια. Σε είκοσι (20) λεπτά το πέρασα και δεν ιδρωσαν ούτε οι μασχάλες . Τόσα χρόνια με τη τσάπα πονούσε όλο το κορμί την άλλη μέρα (παιδί της πόλης γαρ). Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα!
Όπως και για κάθε εργαλείο ρεύματος με καλώδιο - μπαλαντεζα απαιτείται προσοχή κι εγρήγορση.
Very weak. (750W). It did the job but after the first 3 square meters it broke down. The machine made a noise (tak-tak) and I returned it.
Πολύ αδύναμο. (750W). Έκανε δουλίτσα αλλά στα 3 πρώτα τετραγωνικά έβγαλε βλάβη. Έκανε ένα θόρυβο (τακ - τακ) η μηχανή και το επέστρεψα.
Ok. For limited small spaces it is a good solution. It grinds the soil, turns it into a paste.
However:
1) You can't handle it like a petrol-powered tiller.
The handling (to get results) is backwards. You pull it towards you during tilling.
2) In a moment of carelessness, you might cut the power cord.

Οκ. για περιορισμένους μικρούς χώρους είναι μία καλή λύση. Αλέθει το χώμα, το κάνει αλοιφή.
Όμως:
1)Δεν μπορείς να τη χειριστής όπως τη βενζινοκίνητη φρέζα .
Ο χειρισμός της (για να έχεις αποτέλεσμα) είναι προς τα πίσω. Την τραβάς προς το μέρος σου κατά την άροση.
2)Μπορεί σε μια στιγμή απροσεξίας να κόψεις το καλώδιο ρευματοδότησης.

I used it for about 35 square meters. It did a good weeding job first. I had read some comments and applied them, and they were right. One was to take a short break every 10 minutes of using the tiller (mine were every 2-3 minutes for the break time) and the second was, when tilling, to move forward and when you reach the straight line you want, instead of turning around and going over the same spot again, you pull it back in the same direction. This way it is easier and digs deeper than 20 centimeters and... if you persist in the same spot. Another important thing is, when you activate it and it starts to dig, it has a specific sound - noise of operation. WHEN you hear that the sound changes, as if it is struggling, check proactively if the soil or any weeds are hindering its movement, removing them. This way it will work smoothly and safely, without straining and possibly damaging the motor. I passed over the area horizontally and vertically 2 times, and the ground, it turned to dust (figuratively). The time for the 35 square meters with the breaks, the cleaning, was about half an hour... effortlessly, not even my armpits sweated. It is worth it as a tool, with the appropriate care it is perfect.
Το χρησιμοποίησα για 35 τετραγωνικά περίπου. Έγινε ένα καλό ξεχορτάριασμα πρώτα. Είχα διαβάσει κάποια σχόλια και τα εφάρμοσα και είχαν δίκιο. Ένα ήταν να κάνεις ένα μικρό διάλειμμα ανά 10λεπτο χρήσης του σκαπτικού ( τα δικά μου ήταν ανά 2 ,3 λεπτά ο χρόνος του διαλείμματος ) και το δεύτερο ήταν , όταν φρεζάρεις προχωράει εμπρός και όταν κάνεις την ευθεία που θέλεις αντί να γυρίσεις και να ξαναπεράσεις από το ίδιο σημείο , το τραβάς προς τα πίσω προς την ίδια κατεύθυνση. Έτσι είναι ποιο εύκολο και σκάβει ποιο βαθιά από 20 εκατοστά και ... αν επιμένεις στο ίδιο σημείο.Ένα άλλο σημαντικό είναι ,όταν το ενεργοποιήσεις και ξεκινήσει να σκάβει έχει τον συγκεκριμένο ήχο- θόρυβο λειτουργίας του.ΟΤΑΝ ακούς ότι αλλάζει ο ήχος , σαν να ζορίζεται , κοίτα προληπτικά αν τυχόν το χώμα ή τυχόν χοτάρια δυσκολεύουν την κίνηση του, απομακρύνοντας τα. Έτσι θα δουλεύει απρόσκοπα και ασφαλές ,να μην ζοριστεί και τυχόν πάθει ζημιά το μοτέρ του.Εγώ πέρασα την έκταση οριζοντίος και καθέτος από 2 φορές , και έδαφος , το έκανε σκόνη ( μεταφορικά ). Ο χρόνος για τα 35 τετραγωνικά με τα διαλείμματα , τον καθαρισμό , περίπου μισή ώρα..... ξεκούραστα ,ούτε οι μασχάλες ίδρωσαν. Αξίζει σαν εργαλείο με την ανάλογη προσοχή είναι τέλειο.
Very good for its price, just for the effort it saved me it's worth it, if the soil hasn't been worked for many years you need to go a bit diagonally left and right, and it doesn't mind small stones. Very honest purchase so far everything is good, I will update if anything changes.
Πολυ καλο για τα λεφτα του, μονο τον κοπο που μου γλύτωσε αξιζει, εαν δεν έχει δουλευτεί το χωμα παρα πολλα χρονια θελει να το πας λιγο λοξα αριστερά δεξια, και με πετρουλες δεν χαμπαριάζει. Πολυ τιμια αγορα μεχρι τωρα ολα καλα, θα επανέλθω εάν αλλαξει κατι.
