German artist Catrin Welz-Stein combines elements of surrealism and the subconscious, creating beautiful and intricate images. Since 2009, Welz-Stein has combined old illustrations and photographs to create dreamlike digital collages. Simultaneously, she discovered online social networks, and her personal images became open to the public. The positive reactions she received motivated her to continue her art. As a graphic designer, Welz-Stein brings her digital skills to create a marvelous composition between the artistic and subconscious world that we all encounter within ourselves.
