Combining a classic and versatile focal length with a lightweight design, the Viltrox AF 50mm f/2 Air FE lens for full-frame cameras with Sony E-mount is a prime lens ideal for everyday photography. Fast and silent autofocus is achieved through the STM mechanism, making it reliable for both photos and videos. The maximum aperture of f/2 allows use in low-light conditions and helps create pleasing bokeh. Optical aberrations and distortion are reduced thanks to the built-in Extra-low Dispersion (ED), High Refractive Index (HR), and Aspherical (ASPH) elements. Exif data transmission is also supported, as well as multiple camera shooting modes.

Honestly, I don't care about the aperture ring and the extra button they put on the EVOs. And its plastic isn't bad. It may not be like the old polycarbonate from Nikon/Canon, but it gets the job done. I really wanted Sigma's i-series, but I'm not about to pay three times the price
