For its price, it's top. I don't use it only before straightening my hair, I use it after another Pantene product I bought for dry ends and when my hair is damp after washing, but also on the following days before styling, or even if I don't do any styling at all just to keep it soft. If you learn to use it correctly, it's not as heavy as they say, however, it's best to apply it mainly from the middle to the ends and not on the roots. For me, it's a very value for money product.

I have long hair, thick strands, a lot of hair, unruly. I have tried expensive products that did absolutely nothing. I bought this just to say I tried it and it really surprised me in a positive way. It smells wonderful and the straightening really lasts.

Very good for heat protection and after straightening it holds quite well the next day too.
However, I am removing two stars because it is a very heavy product, it makes my hair oily very quickly, even if I use very little.
So yes for straightening, it holds until the next day. And yes for drier hair. If you have normal to oily hair it might make it greasy...
I will use it normally but I will not buy it again.

It works! Excellent product. I have tried others at triple the price and this one is far superior. I have straight hair that never stays straight with humidity. This product, after drying, gives me a nice result and not the almost straight frizzy puff I usually have.
