When used with hydroponic plants (e.g., in Lecca or Pon), the watering indicator helps you choose:

• Optimal water level (optimum) when watering regularly.
• Maximum water level (maximum) when watering for longer intervals.

Water the plant until the indicator reaches 'optimum'. As the plant absorbs the water it needs, the indicator gradually descends to the minimum. Leave a few days without watering (resting phase) and repeat the process. If you will be away for an extended period, water until the indicator reaches 'maximum'.
