The additional grip on the forefoot and midfoot, combined with the wide pattern, helps you slide with control. The design is based on pressure maps and soil accumulation area analyses, tested on European clay courts in various weather conditions.
Forefoot Flexibility
The forefoot of the shoe is more flexible thanks to the smaller Air Zoom unit, placed where the foot receives the most pressure. This maintains responsive cushioning at push-off points while offering greater flexibility.
Stick and Cut
The outsole, made from a new rubber compound, is lighter than previous Vapor models. It allows for faster deceleration, stable braking, and a return to your position without feeling like you're losing control of your movements.
Improved Feel
The midsole and outsole pattern remain the same as those you loved in the Vapor 2, while the sense of stability around the midfoot and rearfoot has been improved for sharper directional changes.
Deeper Flex
The structure in the forefoot features deeper flex grooves for better movement.
Enhanced Fit
The full midfoot fit band allows for tighter lacing, offering a better fit and quicker movements.
