Origin Outdoors water maintenance tablets are very effective against microorganisms, keeping the water clean for a long time. Their action is due to the disinfectant action of chlorine combined with silver, which neutralize pathogenic microorganisms and bacteria.
This action is effective only in clear water, meaning water that has been filtered first, so that it has as few suspended particles as possible. The time required to deactivate bacteria in one liter of water is 2 hours (at temperatures around 20 °C). If the water temperature is < 10 °C, double the time is required.
Ideal for use with drinking water, in water tanks, large containers, dehumidifiers, and many more. The package contains 100 tablets and each tablet disinfects 1 liter of water. An essential supplement for the survival backpack, the boat, the cottage, and anywhere potable water needs to be maintained for months.
