The Clue Giver must guide the Guessers to identify a Hidden Card among the twelve exposed on the table by playing other cards from their hand as Clues. There are two types of Clues: Removal Cards (cards played horizontally, which have some similarity with one or more cards that the Guessers need to remove) or Keeping Cards (cards played vertically, which have some similarity with one or more cards that the Guessers need to keep).
For example, the Hidden Card is the Crocodile. You can play the Iguana as a Keeping Card to indicate to the Guessers that the animals they need to keep are reptiles, green, have yellow eyes, or live in America. Or, you can play the Vulture as a Removal Card to suggest that the animals to be removed are birds, carnivorous, or have a yellow background… it will depend on the Guessers to understand what the Clue Giver is trying to indicate!
