Description

The LSN50 LoRa Sensor is a long-range LoRa sensor. It is designed for outdoor use and powered by a Li/SOCl2 battery for long-term operation. The LSN50 is designed to help developers quickly deploy LoRa and IoT solutions at an industrial level. It assists users in turning their ideas into practical applications and making the Internet of Things a reality. It is easy to program, build, and connect your objects everywhere.

The wireless part of the LSN50 is based on the SX1276/SX1278, allowing users to send data and reach extremely long distances at low data rates. It provides extremely long-range communication and high resistance to interference while minimizing power consumption. It targets professional applications for wireless sensors, such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smartphone detection, building automation, and more.

The MCU part of the LSN50 uses the STM32l0x chip from ST, with ultra-low power consumption mechanisms. The STM32L072xx incorporates the connectivity capability of the universal serial bus (USB 2.0 without crystal) with the high-performance ARM® Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit RISC core, operating at 32 MHz, memory protection unit (MPU), and fast embedded memories. The LSN50 is an open-source product based on STM32Cube HAL drivers.
